  1. So I would have liked an explanation why the Ghoul attacked and not the Rats. Is it player choice? Is it supposed to be the highest untapped attack value? Seems they just glossed right over that part
  2. I would say it's valid. You can spend the strain at "any time". Even the way the rule reads, it's not an instantaneous thing. If I was programing it there would be a wait function there before I ended the turn automatically.
  3. So maybe the asteroid belt idea is a little bogus, but how many missions is your pilot taking you from the encounter hot? There's plenty of opportunity for Imperial issues in orbit before you could make Hyperspace. And maybe it's not asteroids, but evading the Imps has taken you though a ship graveyard in orbit and there's plenty of debris floating around, simulating the asteroid scenario he described above.
  4. This is not Descent. Large figures do not shrink to move. In your example the EWeb must rotate.
  5. This post didn't come out like you expected it to. Probably need a code block around it.
  6. The only units that it currently matters on are the ATST and EWeb. One of the only times it will matter is if the unit wants to move through an area that is narrower than their wide side, but big enough for their narrow side. In other words, if an EWeb wanted to go through a 1 wide hallway but was oriented wrong you would need to spend a MP to turn. Also, since the turn can actually get a unit one square closer to a target it makes sense to expend movement for that as well.
  7. Well and hopefully now that we have a video well start seeing some preview articles. I wonder if Friday is going to be our day til release.
  8. I think single figures are still considered to be in a group of 1. This is reinforced by the fact that all Deployment cards have a "Group Limit" Indicator (LtP pg 11) even if it is just 1 bar.
  9. It hasn't been on the boat long enough to make it to stores by the end of this month, which is the end if the quarter. I see no reason it won't be out by the end of next month however.
  10. Sorry, for some reason I was looking at Field Officer. But I think there's still a problem when I was trying to figure it out before I thought it was order and not XO. The card actually reads 'You gain [A]: Executive Order.....', so what is it that gains the action. The specific figure you happen to be on, or the group as a whole?
  11. It's only "Order". I.e. it only commands a move, not an attack.
  12. Just one. It had been 2 before they stopped Invasion, bet even then I wasn't really that heavy into it.
  13. Final word? no, but educated guess based on other things. The FAQ come to mind: Q: When a large figure moves, does it exit all spaces it occupied and then enter all of its new spaces, even if some of those spaces overlap? A: Yes. So since you're always exiting a space and entering another space, what the space you're exiting will have little difference. Also it's just logical. The terrain is not any less difficult because you're already in it. If you're walking across a field of somewhat loose large rocks, is only your first step cautious or are you cautious across the entire area? Bottom line is that each blue square costs 1 extra.
  14. This is a little bit of a mess because I'm trying to include everything from the expansions, even based on what's been spoiled, but you can manipulate the products page and the counts will update appropriately in the other tabs: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1KKM0_YandGshLt8sgR_Kl1j5N2chkcRmIf_HErmZMgs/edit?usp=sharing
  15. If experience with other FFG products has pointed out anything, the concept of a full CRB and a stripped source book will never happen. Despite years of pleas we've never seen a "third copy" pack for LCGs and other various things of similar nature. The closest we've seen is XWings/TIE fighters for XWM, but even those contain exclusive material to each other. Similar with the upcoming Stormtrooper pack for IA.
  16. He can make the move because other figures are the equivalent to difficult terrain. Think about it from the size of the figure not the base. The trooper is in the center of the square and you can slip between him and the corner.
  17. Also they he is allowed the surges in Skirmish: When a figure corresponding to a Deployment card performs an attack using an alternate attack pool (such as the melee attack on "Close and Personal" on Biv Bodhrik's Deployment card), they may still trigger their surge abilities, unless the ability triggering the attack states otherwise.
  18. Well at the very least there's "Crushing Blow": Exaust this card while performing the [Melee] attack of "Close and Personal" to choose one of the following: The attack gains: [su]: Weaken, Stun The attack gains:[su]: +2[Dam]
  19. I agree. I'm very interested in purchasing the core set organizer, but I'd like to see what he has in store for Twin Shadows now that it is out and about. My OCD NEEEDS a matching Twin Shadows organizer. The Bantha rider will never fit into the Twin Shadows box.
  20. I think the symbol would have been enough to do sepertation without having to duplicate numbers. The only advantage to it I see is it makes you be explicit on map building without having to remember that tiles 39-46 are TS and 47-?? are RtH, etc.
  21. Here's the tiles themselves. https://goo.gl/photos/2UMg2Qq8Qaev6tm3A
  22. I wasn't complaining, I'm happy to have duplicates of the utility pieces, it's just certain other things starting with.... This. On top of not starting the numbering over again it would have been nice that the duplicate tiles were numbered identically as well. Yes, they are exactly the same tile other than the TS number vs the Core number. Same shape and terrain on both sides.
  23. So it's interesting that all the "small" tiles are identical to existing tiles in the core set. Here's the matches: TS08 == C17 TS09 == C18 TS10 == C35 TS11 == C36 TS12 == C37
  24. Thanks to mazz0 who posted some initial screens of the rules, but now I have the game in my hands so it seems like a good time to put out my latest project for Star Wars Gaming the IA Rules Wiki: http://iawiki.viluppo.net What it is: All the rules in one place. What it isn't: A replacement for the wiaka site that lists all the products and has pics of most of the things in the box. What it can do for you. It's downloadable as a single file so you could have a cross referenced searchable rule set on your computer or phone. As with anything, this is a work in progress and I am not flawless. If you see anything missing or wrong please let me know and I'll endeavor to correct it. For those that know my other site, the SW RPG Index, don't worry this is hosted differently and shouldn't be that slow, and once you download it it's as fast as your device allows. Enjoy folks.
  25. The bottom line of what the rules actually mean is there has to be a space to count. Just because there's a space shaped hole between the walls doesn't mean there's actually a space there.
