  1. This sounds positive: http://icv2.com/articles/news/view/33370/icv2-interview-asmodee-north-america-ceo-christian-petersen-part-1
  2. A lot of these are already in the books. This will let you know where: http://swrpg.viluppo.net/transportation/starships/
  3. https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2015/12/11/omens-of-ice/ So it seems we're continuing with the concept of expansions by the way of replacing a good portion of the contents for a new set of cards instead of adding to what there is. I like it! The Game has become an engine with multiple modules. So we can keep it interesting and new without making things longer and longer.
  4. Look what came in today: https://goo.gl/photos/ykrdwXWVTvAgzuhj9 Thanks for all the encouragement and offers. I'll try and see what's up with the scrolling issue.
  5. So I know I've been way behind, but I just placed this order: Lots of typing ahead.
  6. Good writeup, but I would call you a bit on a new campaign being just 5 sheets. There's a location and Nemesis for each. There were Dungeon cards as well. Not to mention all the playtesting that has to go into it. I'm happy with what's there and look forward to expansions that are more than just Campaigns. Though I'd be fine with those as well.
  7. I'd say the chance of no expansions is pretty small. It's been flying off shelves. Both CSI and MM are sold out, and I know CSI has gotten in restocks at least once. FFG positioned it to be expandable, giving it it's own product code sequence. I do think to an extent that they floated this as an experiment. A smaller box card game with expandability that won't reach LCG level. I honestly believe that this has expandability options approaching Decent/Imperial Assault levels, but with LCG or cheaper cost models.
  8. That's to attack in another engagement zone without having the enemy come to yours. Engaging will bring the enemy to you.
  9. 1) From the gear entry in the RRG, second bullet: “Legendary Fortune” cards are not shuffled in unless they are part of the campaign pool. 2) That's why there's space for it on the Quest Log. Once earned it's yours to keep.
  10. No, when there are two equal choices it's left up to the players to decide. the wolf will still engage a Hero.
  11. The "Quest Stage" is the game play. So yes, you can get the get immediately. You're also correct that no matter how many times you do that in the first quest you'll only be able to keep one per Hero. Stalling probably is an option, but I think the Peril track would get you in the long run.
  12. Definitely bigger than a mouse pad. Figure you need space for 8 cards to be clearly visible in both ready and exhausted position (though the player card is always landscape). With probably a little extra room for tokens/gear. Gear is mini cards, but everything else is full sized. My mat is this: http://quivergaming.com/ I've got the 40x58" version of the Light of Knight. It's a much heaver mat than a typical playmat. Thankfully I have a dedicated gaming table that I can leave it out on all the time.
  13. I could see having a central one for the dungeon and individual ones for the players. The player ones wouldn't be as small as the PACG ones, but I don't think they need to be CCG sized mats either. Short of custom mats that's probably where you are. The other option I've gone with is just a table sized mat that I use for everything.
  14. This answer bothers me since there's no explicit rule that states it. Logically to me a hero would need a special ability like the Iornbreaker "Shield Wall" to engage off of someone else. I guess I'm thinking along the lines of a MMO, where you have to have some taunt skill to refocus the enemy away from it's target. All that being said, there's nothing that says you can't do it either.
  15. Sigh. Looks like I'll be drooling over post this weekend, not knowing when I can get a copy. CSI still shows sold out pre-order, and my local store gets a shipment in today, but isn't sure if it's there, but no clue if they'll even get it before I leave town...sigh.
  16. As I've read things you got it right. Guess things will be tough I don't have the game yet myself, but are there any ways to roll Peril back?
  17. There's also countervailing issues againts moving with engaged enmies. Spawns at the new location and engaged limits. The question is, do those negatives outweigh the current location event. The single quest us OK in my book, I expect a larger portion on my play time will be the Delve Quest anyway.
  18. Yes, I shouldn't have been so specific. Facing doesn't matter at all.
  19. I'm curious where one looks up this kind of information.
  20. Probably not that since the SW Risk that was just released is essentially a OT reskin of Queen's Gambit and nothing related to Risk.
  21. All of the big SW game lines have product codes like SWC, SWI, etc. But this games product code is simply SW03. The only other game with just SW is Empire and Rebellion with the code SW01. So where is SW02?
  22. Well, we just crossed the 6 week mark for being on the boat, and they're starting to put out these previews regularly. That usually means an imminent release. I'd be very surprised if we didn't have this in our hands by the end of November.
