  1. Most of the good dark stuff does fall outside your timeframes. A lot of the Old Republic/Jedi Origins stuff is the darkest/most adult stuff out there.
  2. Personally I disagree that this thread isn't needed. Perhaps it just needs to be redefined. Removing the items that have added to the official errata, reorganizing the leftover items, and classifying any newfound errors or inconsistencies till the next errata comes along and the re-org happens again. Now if it's your choice that you no longer wish to put the time in to maintain that then thank you for your effort. Maybe someone can pick up the torch and we can get the pin moved.
  3. You wouldnt happen to know a book & page number would you? My copy is digital so Page number is probably useless, but it's Chapter 18 of Heir to the Empire. Though it's not a physical tunnel after all, it's a "force tunnel". Probably some shield/tractor hybrid device to establish a tunnel of space that they can pump air into.
  4. I think you just have to look at things like the Skipray Blastobat that shows 5 crew and 0 passengers and decide from there.
  5. I'm going to be blunt about things particular situation. You have a player that needs a smack upside the head. Lone wolf characters are bad for RPGs. This person needs to reorient his character or just roll a new one.
  6. There a scene similar to this in the Zahn novels when Luke is first introduced to Talon Karrde and Mara Jade.
  7. I would of if they had it, but I don't usually think about Amazon and B&N for games. Amazon was out because if I'm going to pay full price, I'm not going to pay shipping and that was direct from Amazon so no Prime. Looks like my local B&N has a copy, so I just put it on reserve there.
  8. Since the GM kit is near impossible to find right now could someone let me know what tables are on the GM screen? I plan on picking it up on the reprint, but I'd like to whip something up for this weekend.
  9. I'll just throw this anecdote out there. I was at my FLGS today to see if they happened to have a GM Kit in stock since it's impossible to find and I got talking with the manager there about the game. Her comments were that she was enjoying it much more than Pathfinder and the biggest bonus was that it only takes like 10 minutes to understand the mechanics. YMMV.
  10. Yes, it's got a writeup on page 260-261. Was just pondering it to give to my group that starts on Saturday.
  11. Page 180: The X-Wing's back up hyperdrive is listed as N/A instead of None for all other vehicles. Page 181: The B-Wing has several weapons listed as "Hardpoint Mounted" and I don't see this referenced elsewhere. Is it then possible to unmount these weapons and gain hardpoints?
  12. Page 42: Pilot Spec, All other specializations reinforce the ability to receive a free rank in 2 out of 4 career skills specified in the specs description. This spec makes no mention of it.
  13. Could we get a list of the font sizes as well. Gimp only can use the reasterized version of the existing text, so I'll need to recreate the text layers. Trial an error would work, but I'm sure it's an easy look for you. Thanks.
  14. Nice thing about Google Drive, since I just "Move to Folder"ed from your original I get automatic updates . Assuming you just publish to the same file, like you did, and not change to a new one.
  15. Looks awesome sir, thanks for all your effort here. I'll look forward to Vehicles/Starships later on.
  16. Yep, I'm digging option 4 a lot. The only thing I would say against it is the order of the Characteristics, but I understand the design decision. Honestly I don't expect having that many single Characteristic based skills on one NPC, and if I did it'd probably be at the expense of one of the other Characteristics so I could modify that one. I'd rather see equal boxes and the stats in the "standard" order. I'm also digging the grey section boxes, and would rather see that on all the sections rather than alternating between plain. Losing the one extra line in the Skills section should give you the space needed to make all the sections like that. If you want the alternation, maybe two different shades of grey or alternating with black. Doing good work, keep it up.
  17. In retrospect you probably have too much room for skills. I just went through and counted up the skill lists for Adversaries in the core book. The most any has is 13, and you've got room for 36. Having them linked to the main stat boxes may not be the way to go.
  18. I think I'd lean towards option 1. If 3 was the final answer I'd just never use the bubbles. And I like the space for the Talents, but I don't think option 2 is the way to go. It sounded good in theory, but once I'm seeing it applied I'm not liking it much. Sorry Naglareph. But then I'm just one opinion.
  19. Hmmm, I'll play with this idea, but I'm not sure I like the idea of splitting the bubbles between vertical and horizontal. Using only vertical bubbles might work nicely, and allow more space for talents/abilities, as suggested by Naglareph below. I'm thinking one of us may be misunderstanding the other. Here's a horrible hack job I did to show what I was talking about: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BwqeUlywmES3LVg5UGtxSC00T00/edit?usp=sharing Sorry for the horror job, graphics aren't my thing.
  20. So I was thinking about the bubbles and the "Rancor problem". What if instead of having the two individual rows the wound and strain came in from the sides. There would still be two rows of bubbles but the left side would be red an the right blue. They would still be numbered, but only to 20. Then the 20 bubbles in the center would be half circle red and half blue. Then you could mark over the center bubbles you didn't need. This would give you up to a 40/20 split and would provide a better sepperation of the two tracks for most normal sized NPCs.
  21. I haven't finished reading it myself, but It's given me ideas that's I'm going back and making changes to the scenario I'm working on. It's definitely a high quality book and I look forward to more like it.
  22. I knew when they announced the first Occupation handbook that others would follow. But I kinda thought that they would maybe actually release the book before they announced another one. My wallet is crying. I haven't looked at the AoR beta, but I'll assume that's 6 unique Occupations, and another 6 in FaD. Weep wallet, weep.
  23. I posted an Excel sheet of the coordinates from the core rulebook on my blog. Thank you, that's exactly what I was looking for.
