  1. Ah, the irony... sigh. Sadly Titles of topics can't be changed. I'll create a new topic. Do me a favor though. delete the correct spelling so this won't show up in a search for the correct word.
  2. I'm a moron, please disregard this topic and use the properly titled topic elsewhere. I'll try and keep up and keep the main topic up to date as people add below. Pg 41: SoroSuub Persuader: in the table it only lists "Slow Firing" instead of "Slow Firing 1" as described in the detail paragraphs.
  3. It's the create token itself that's worth 50 credits. Valuable goods is with whatever is on the card (not in front of me at the moment).
  4. My wife gets on me about answering either or questions with a yes/no. I usually tell her it's because I'm answering the first part. So by that logic I'm just seeing things.
  5. They can't squeeze into spaces that are smaller than their dimensions. There are times when they will have to reface in order to get through certain areas of the map.
  6. Is it just me or are the deployment cards in the pack layout pictures the same cards that are in the core set? It seems the only new cards we'll get are the Elite Troopers and Saboteurs.
  7. Audacity. Free, saves recordings in chunks, could record multi track as well.
  8. Actually all the 0 cost cards are restricted to 1 copy in your deck anyway.
  9. Step one pitch the insert. Step two lots of bags. For now everything fits withroom to spare even if it is a bit of a mess. I see foam core in my future.
  10. Well the official skirmish mode uses specifically built maps, it's not just make a random map and place troops on it. An they use the odly shaped tiles just as much as campaign maps.
  11. The only actions that are restricted to once per round are Attacks and Special Actions. Unless you're a hero then you can Attack twice.
  12. Ignoring the cutouts, if you assume all the tiles are rectangular along their longest dimensions I get 984 squares. Considering most of them are rectangles the real number probably isn't much lower. Source data if you're interested: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12Gjki1sR9Kf3E3h3gW_1ZO60Q97ov--p_NB5t6k8RtM/edit?usp=sharing Edit: It was bugging me, the true total is 966 squares.
  13. It's almost exactly like that. the difference between a LCG and a CCG is that the packs that you buy for an LCG are fixed cards, there are no random purchases.
  14. OK, looking at things more I think I understand what's happening. Here's the deal. The examples are for actions that have names (pounce, brutality) while Attack is also a named action. By default it's saying that Vader can't take the "Attack" action followed by the "Brutality" action since both actions result in attacking. But since Gaarkhan specifically says that he can perform multiple attacks he will be allowed to do so since his card text will trump the rules text.
  15. Actually the special ability on Gaarkhan doesn't permit a second attack, it simply allows you to combine a move and attack into one action (with certain limitations). Of course if I read everything on the card it does. Gotta pay better attention
  16. Cards trump rulebooks. Golden Rule #2 on page 2 of the RRG
  17. I know some people are sorting tiles by the numbers, but size makes more sense to me from the storage perspective. That does make the possibility of finding tiles a bit more difficult. So I went ahead an inventoried the tiles with a bit of data about size and shape. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12Gjki1sR9Kf3E3h3gW_1ZO60Q97ov--p_NB5t6k8RtM/edit?usp=sharing There's also a Map entry sheet where you can just enter the numbers for a map and it will give you all the detail of the tiles as well. I'm thinking of a new sheet for each map in the book but I haven't got there just yet. Just interested in any feedback there might be.
  18. So one thing that I haven't seen mentioned a lot in threads is the "Time Period" mechanic on the side quests. The time period for this campaign is 3, and there are cards that specify time periods before that. Since TP3 seems to be exactly after the Battle of Yavin, TPs 1 and 2 have to be before. It's just a question of how far before. Right now we have 1 2-4 SM, 2x 3-4 SMs and a 2-7 SM.
  19. Someone had the full breakdown in another thread somewhere, but Tue question is does each card type match the totals in the contents page? Ultimately the only concern here is for skirmish. The campaign never requires more than you get in the one box.
  20. This is a tad frustrating. I added Stay on Target to my IA order when it went to shipping and IA was still "On the Boat". Now I've got to wait on SoT.... arrg.
  21. Awesome. Added to my SW:IA order which is hopefully shipping soon as well.
  22. Don't forget that it'll be even worse than that when you have to take into account the opposing fighters. Setting up a good screen will keep you of the capital ships even more than the every other turn because of the engagement rule.
  23. Very unlikely. They are all still listed as at the printers.
  24. I just wish they'd actually update the Upcoming page. If both of them are actually going to ship I'd like to add SoT to my IA order.
  25. All the CSI costs on the packs have increased since my preorder as well.
