  1. It took a while to get everything down, then put the sounds in, make the unavoidable errors less noticeable. Next I have to get the thing voice acted so it's possible to figure out exactly what the hell is going on beyond the obvious.
  2. Happy New Year! Haven't been around these parts much lately, been busy making this, but to celebrate the new year, a new youtube video! Hope people don't mind me putting this all around. I figure different people have different forums watched so I'm sending it everywhere. Flying to and through space from the inside of a great Imperial Star Fortress. Observing the environs! Missing ramming stuff by about a few feet! What could be better? Sanity? Nah! Overrated! Now, to find some voice actors!
  3. Happy New Year! Haven't been around these parts much lately, but to celebrate the new year, a new youtube video! Hope people don't mind me putting this all around. I figure different people have different forums watched so I'm sending it everywhere. To the depths of space! We hunt... what are we hunting today? People who can pilot with sanity? Nah, they're boring. Let's pull some G's! Now, to find some voice actors!

I found how to make the dreadnought voice online, but my Norwegian accent... well I can do the Swedish Chef...

  7. The next time the party steps up to the plate with their miniatures and they find out the mission is ON a Warlord titan "mini" I shall certainly be grinning like a maniac. We do have a GM, great guy, needs to chill, who runs his missions as the party sitting there and watching his mega-npc's slaughter everything around us (a different batch of npc's with enormous amounts of backstory each time)unless our PC'S have the firepower to crack small planetoids. I kind of feel bad about the whole huge things going on in the background as the party does little things to make a difference in the foreground. Partially because of that GM. Partly because my last party would go after the demi gods stalking the battlefields, and probably win with a shotgun, an autocannon, and an explosive concussion mace, to the surprise of myself and probably half the sector. Last time I had a really horrible player I just kicked for three points soooo... I'm not sure of the problem. Also I tend to give my parties the brown pants run like hell lesson in the training(simulation) scenario(they don't know it's training) in which the last exit door has a "Mr. Voted most in need of anger management through brain vaccuum" Khorne Berserker between it and their lvl1 arses.
  8. https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/225749-the-apocrypha-abidel-abidel-sector/?p=2325327 My work on the subject.
  9. Note there is a technology called "grav couches" which sounds oddly comfy, takes up a lot of space, but allows a normal human to use a fast insert drop pod. The couches are only assumed to take up a lot of room because the pod has the exact same carrying capacity for guardsmen in flak armor as Marines in power armor.
  10. I'm bouncing around trying to figure out where to put stuff(though I've always been confused about that) and I'm wondering if people are even going to see things I put up. No less trying to figure out what people want in the first place.
  11. Dude, it's a piece of wax. You even see them just affix a new one in one of the videos. You don't always walk around with them. What you bought with your experience is the effect. That doesn't go away if someone breaks your pretty little piece of wax or burns, cuts, soaks, melts, etc etc your little paper ribbons. Easiest way to say it. You get the seal because you are pure. You don't become pure by having the seal.
  12. Odd place to be intersecting with a random topic.
  13. Just in the middle of the main project next part.
  14. Uh, a saint isn't going to be around for a surgical strike. The Inquisition keeps forces of Inquisitorial storm troopers for this kind of thing. Very discreet, etc. Ring the Tricorn (or whatever if in Askellon) or have them already with you. Barring that the Inquisitor's personal retinue of acolytes should be completely capable of that operation.
  15. I was under the assumption that the Imperials, since they can fit a fusion reactor in a small trash can, were using directed plasma thrusters, and it was igniting the air. Fortunately this is only preliminary. I haven't figured out smoke yet!
  16. Question. Too much flame on the engines? This is supposed to be in an atmosphere. https://youtu.be/c6b5zuOKdHU
  17. https://youtu.be/ByhW6a3rqsU Not as much of a yay. Just getting the spin down. Watch your stomach if you get motion sick.
  18. ? They lost the 40k licence a while back. When was this news?
  19. ... Hey... look, someone turned on one of the larger necron null field generators. No psychic powers at all on this planet. Oh noes... Oh, and demons can't come willingly into the field once it's up... no disk to fly him away... Oh noes... What? Three tomb spiders and four wraiths have him targeted and he might actually end up having to be a marine and fighting them with his wits and a gun? Oh noes... roleplaying opportunities, nooooooo! Power gamer not come to rpg to role play! What witchery is this?
  20. I would expect a bit of stigma since the whole war but that was ten thousand years ago. While the Imperial Fists base operations out of their Phallanx mobile fortress they do maintain significant assets on their chapter homeworld, Earth. Space Wolves maintain a presence at the Navigators section near Australia as well. The Black Templars battle barge would be more notably out of place but the model is so well made I can't blame him for wanting to use it. That didn't impress me as the Imperial palace, or any of the other well known sections of Holy Terra. You can't be guilded awesome everywhere I guess.

  22. Old 90's 00's models of power fists were the size of a human torso, but they didn't make much sense on guardsmen. Current guard power fist fits up to, sometimes past the elbow, the person controls it like a prosthetic since they can't open their hand in the giant glove though the tech is good enough it doesn't show, nor is fine control needed. 10's power fists are about a foot across, and unless you replaced the whole arm with them can be taken on and off and slung over the back, maybe on a strap. If you think someone can do fine manipulation with a foot across fist that has only partial fine motor control, you can have it any way. You are the boss in that respect. Some characters do have a full prosthetic power fist like iron hand Straken. That seems to have a normal level of motor control.
  23. Err, gotta check but I think the second Eldar ship is a void stalker. That makes a kroozer look tiny. Also the battle barge is about 1/3 size and the iconoclast is but only a touch big. All the models but the hellebore, onslaught and ico are way different. Also you'd need GW bases if you'd be trying to bfg with them. If it has two top fins it's the void stalker.
  24. Say Hello to the Fentex-Uejini Pattern Raptor System Ship. Eagle eyed viewers might note something on the spine of the ship alongside the turbolaser turrets. Nothing to see here, it's just this: Using a scale which has the Raptor at 940-960 meters long. That also gives some information on these images: A launch from drydock for a pair. From R-Quad Alpha, or Byacrone Station over Port Moesby. Or just your friendly neighborhood Ramilies Class Star Fort.
