  1. https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2020/2/20/atomic-bonds/ Coop for everyone!
  2. With the new year comes the hope and promise of X-Wing resolutions! Mikhail wants to attend a specific tournament that he’s never played in before. Franch vows to be more faction diverse. And Gordon….well, Gordon is already a hot mess, getting stuck trying to live up to his X-Wing promise on the very first day he makes the attempt! http://acrossthesaga.com/sot-episode-58-x-wing-new-years-resolutions/
  3. Ah... I did misread it. Thanks! While there is some drop off to their attacks (such as Ezra not hitting as hard during a second SC activation, for example) it's going to be the defensive efficiency that takes a big big hit now, not being able to withstand as well as they used to any kind of repeated/focused fire to the same figure.
  4. That's a pretty big nerf. Lots of damage/survival upfront and then efficiency drops off a cliff for the rest of the match.
  5. https://www.facebook.com/events/2338972773004184/?active_tab=about If you plan to attend, then you should pre-reg ASAP as there will be a player cap at 64 and it will probably sell out.
  6. I've got an extra one...want me to send it to you?
  7. Someone make me an Oprah meme: "You get a heroic...you get a heroic...EVERYONE GETS A HEROIC!"
  8. Gordon and Mikhail are joined this week by special guest Ryan Staniszewski of the OCX podcast to discuss their recent experience at the Hyperspace Trial that was held in Springfield, Ohio. In fact, one of them won the tournament! You’ll never guess who!! Listen to find out!!! Okay, fine, the title of the episode has a hint!!!! http://acrossthesaga.com/sot-episode-48-hail-mikhail/
  9. 😧 Oh no...does it say "On Target" on the side of the laser? (faint red lettering)
  10. Let us know if you think it was worth getting or not!
  11. Probably a very accurate assessment...go 5-1 with it or go home. Might be better suited for the Hyperspace side event at a System Open where MOV isn't a factor instead of a dedicated Trial.
  12. If the On Target laser isn't to your satisfaction, be sure to publicly shame me...you'd think I was getting commission on their sales over how much I've shouted to the rooftops about these things the past few years.
  13. Well, my goal was to spell that out in the article: it's the thinnest laser I've ever owned. Enough to justify 3X the cost? That has more to do with your wallet and what you're comfortable spending. The article was supposed to come across as a bit tongue-in-cheek in a fanatical and hyperbolic sense, but I do believe it's a quality laser and well built. I eventually came to own three of them because I thought I had lost mine at a tournament and so I bought two more for $20 each when funagain.com was having a fire-sale on their remaining inventory and thought I'd have a backup if I lost one again. And then I found my original lost laser (of course). Two of them are as thin as can be, but one is slightly thicker and indistinguishable from my Army Painter. That's the thing about Army Painter lasers, because they're cheap, they have a range of thickness widths as well. For example, my friend has an Army Painter laser that's practically indistinguishable from my On Targets...it's a unicorn! Maybe yours is too and you're all set! Regardless, the Army Painters are no where near as bad as how awful the Harbor Freight lasers can be. My On Target laser has been used at times by judges at System Opens and Regionals when it made sense to do so because of how thin it was. Is it just as precise as a straight edge? Of course not, but it's close.
  14. Or you can pay a bit more like I did -- oh look, an opportunity to link to my article! (http://acrossthesaga.com/frickin-laser-beams/ -- but they are pretty hard to find in the wild now. A quick search shows someone had Amazon selling one (no idea how many are available): https://www.amazon.com/Gamesmith-ON-TARGET-Line-Laser/dp/B01CH89WV0
  15. Yeah, you're not alone in that opinion! Like I said, some room to play around in the list. Not much, but just enough for everyone to put their spin on it.
