I finally settled on a basing technique for my axis and started on my laserwerfers. I decided to go with a bone/skull environmental mask, as well as updating my army to have the "wolfs angle" badges from the 2nd SS Panzerdivision. I figured a little historical couldn't hurt, plus the emblem is hand painted, not decal.

Glad to see I'm not the only one having fun.

So now that I've spent like $400 on this game can I actually get an opponent I play against? Or are those extra $?

I found dust in stock at Crusaders Retreat. Picked up original core set, and they might expand on the inventory. It's a new store at 32nd St and Thunderbird. I might play there if I can find an opponent.

Dust warfare will probably drive them to produce new incentory for every army. Maybe even increase squad sizes.

I was driving home and saw a game store in my neighborhood. It has been under my nose all along. Never kbew the store was there (blind corner). Walked in and there was the "vintage" core set staring me in the face. $100 it was mine. I now own too much lil. But I wanted the medium walkers.

Always use black primer. Even if th model will eventually be white. It gives you chances to layer the proper depth.

I went in and bought Axis Gorillas and painted those along with Axis Recon squad.

I dig it. Reminds me of Cadian camo on the Kasrkin.

We have a gaming convention that is showcasing Dust Warfare here in Phoenix on Feb 25th. Andy Chambers is also going to appear by Skype to talk about it.

There are so many playable games out on the market. This game catches my attention visually, but Im a minis gamer more than a board gamer. I want to know what this game is because i visually like it.

Maybe well be lucky enough to get a league here.

I see your points. I agree that squares are simpler.

Revised core set units are definitely worth it. And they should sell faction dice tins like every other game out there.

Excellent use of styrofoam. It makes for a convincing scale concrete bunker and buildings.
