I noticed that some of the investigators have gone out of stock and was wondering if they would ever be reprinted.  I'll have to keep my eye on the reprint schedule.

 

Luckily I noticed and snagged one from an OLGS when I noticed FFG went out (and that store only had 2 left...the next day zero).  Now I've only seen them sold at a marked up price.

 

I was mostly wondering because it would let me know how the monsters will be handled too.  I haven't bought those yet, but may....just trying to see if I need to act with the same urgency.

[Arkham Nights 2013?]

With this new game, recent release of an expansion for Elder Sign, continual release of the LCG, fairly recent expansion for Mansions of Madness, etc, I doubt they will decide it is time to stop having Arkham Nights.

 

Seems like Arkham is as strong as ever.  The only thing that has stopped is Arkham Horror expansions, but all the others have not finished.

Specifically, someone stated in the Arkham Horror forum a while ago that the following did not have monster figures made for them yet:

Barnabas March
Deep One Hybrid
Priest of Dagon
Star Spawn

Well, the Nightgaunt has become AH101 so just those 4 left!

[Willing to trade new swag bag material for old swag bag material]

I actually was able to get a hold of the 2011 swag bag so now I am just looking for the one from 2010 (or at least the 2 ancient ones in that bag).

But for reference, the promos were a remade Yig for Arkham Horror and a remade Shub for Elder Sign.

Thanks for the advice, especially so now I know that I don't have to lug around my Arkham Horror/Mansions/Elder Sign collection.  I still plan to bring them all, but mostly just because I'm getting in on Thursday night so I may play a game on Friday before the event.

This will be my first Arkham Nights, and I'm looking forward to seeing the schedule of events.  I cheated a bit by looking at last years schedule of events.

I was wondering what others have done when they go.  Do you playtest a lot?  Do you bring your copy of a game and play with your group?  Should I bring my games with?  Do you play with random people?

(Note that I do not play the LCG else I'd obviously know to bring my deck with me - I play the other games though - Elder Sign, Arkham Horror, and Mansions of Madness - although technically I only own Mansions and haven't played it yet)

Any advice or tips would be useful.  I will be getting to the area on Thursday night so I'll be able to be there the entire time if I chose to.

[Willing to trade new swag bag material for old swag bag material]

This is the first time I will be going to Arkham Nights so this is the first time I'll be getting a swag bag, but since a friend is also coming with me, we will get 2 sets of swag bags.

What would be great is if I could trade items from this years swag bag for items in a previous year's (2010 or 2011).  What I am most interested in are items from Arkham Horror and Elder Sign (so, the scenarios, the new Cthulhu, Daoloth for Elder Sign and/or Arkham Horror, and Hastur).

I know it's a long shot, but I figured I could see if anyone not able to make it this year has an extra set from previous years.

(Am posting this before checking with my friend, but there is a good chance he'd be fine with it since I am the only one who owns the games, and he only plays when we play together.)
