This is probably the worse thread I have seen for this game.
This is not the last shipment. This is not the end of the game. Stop causing unnecessary panic.
The whole point of Destiny is for FFG to branch into the CCG market. They want this game in all the big retailers, Target, Walmart... From past experience with other games, they are going to keep fulfilling smaller vendors before they hit up the big boys. So until we see Target and Walmart flooded with Awakenings, we know this set will live on.
That is it.

My opponent claims the battlefield. I finish up my turn collecting 3 resources for a total of five. The next turn, I draw my Falcon! First time in 4 games, I am finally going to play the Falcon!!! I am freaking pumped.
My opponent plays Abandon All Hope...
The card name said it all...

Seeing as the game's Lead Designer has stated, the complete set is design first, then rarity is set. The rarity for Legendary and Uncommon is chosen on the conplexity of the cards. Thus, keeping the entry level easier for players. I don't forsee a decks built will all legendaries. It just wouldn't make sense.

Good lord.... why do threads like this exsist... if you aren't happy with the game, walk away. This game will go on. It is going to survive despite your bad feelings. It is a collectible card game. The players who are enjoying it understand what they have bought into.
I have purchased 1 booster box and two starters, plus ten packs. After trading most of the contents in my box, I have built two solid, competitive decks. One of which when 2-1 in our local store tourney on Wednesday night with 20 players. Yes, 20 players on a Wednesday night. I am content. The decks are fun and the group is growing. Already designing deck #3 so I know what to trade for.
So, I had an amazing idea, rather than coming on this thread and posting your sorrows as to what you did not get out of this game, please post what you expected to get from you booster box. Post What you were expecting to pull from a box containing 36 random rares out 67? What were you expecting to do with your 36 random rares?
Not to mention, the gameplay is absolutely brilliant. The character designs are genius. The balance of control and aggro is stunning. This game is here to stay. Love it, enjoy it, play it...

Quick question:
If I spend 1 Resource to play Natural Talent on a die showing 3Ranged/1Resource, do I need to spend the additional 1 Resource?
-
Side note -- Jabba's ability states, "after you activate this character". Can he re-roll one of his own dice?

Thank you everyone! I now have a full understanding of how QGJ's ability is played correctly. And Dooku as well.
The next part is figuring out who to pair with him. His cost is extremely tough to pair. Originally, I was thinking Padme, but I am not sure a mill deck will survive. Some builds can put out a lot of dmg.
Rey could work, but like stated, you are forced to use only Blue.
Finn is also a viable option, though I don't have a clue what the deck would look like.
It is very hard to decide.

Just so I am clear:
I have 3 dice showing, 2 shields, 1 shield and 1 shield. I also have QGJ with 2 shields on him.
First action: I chose to resolve Shields. I chose to resolve the 2 shields die. I trigger QGJ's ability to do 1 dmg and remove a shield. Then place 2 shields on him for a total of 3 shields.
Next action: I chose to resolve Shields. I chose to resolve both 1 shield die for a total of 2 shields. Again, I trigger QGJ's ability to do 1 dmg and remove a shield. Even though I spent 2 dice it is still only one resolve, so the ability triggers only once. Then place only 1 shield on QGJ for a total of 3 shields.
Thanks for the discussion! This has been great, as I am looking forward to playing QGJ as soon as this game is released.

So, anyone else think the big reveal at Gen Con will be the final expansions for WH DW?

If Poe is stressed and reveals a 2 straight on his dial, can he trigger BB8 to take the free barrel roll action?

Love this thread. It has inspired me to play A's at my SC this Sunday. I am relatively new to flying them and only own three at the moment. I have to choose between these two lists:
First List
Tycho Celchu
Expert Handling
PTL
Proton Rockets
Autothrusters
Jake Farrell
Wired
PTL
Proton Rockets
Autothrusters
Gemmer Sojan
PTL
Proton Rockets
Stealth Device
Second List
Tycho Celchu
Expert Handling
PTL
Proton Rockets
Shield Upgrade
Jake Farrell
Wired
PTL
Proton Rockets
Shield Upgrade
Gemmer Sojan
PTL
Refit
Stealth Device
Which would you choose? Or do you have something better in mind?

Can Vader use Squad with both of his actions? Or is this not allowed because you are performing the same action twice?
Thanks for the help. This a great community.

Actually, TLT and Stress Bot give three stress tokens.
The first step to each attack is declaring a target.
1. Primary weapon attack. Declare -- Stress defender. Stress yourself.
Trigger BLT-A4
2. First TLT attack. Declare -- Stress defender. Stress yourself.
3. Second TLT attack. Declare -- Stress defender. Stress yourself.
Page 4 of the Rules Reference breaks down the steps of an ATTACK. You always declare on every attack.

Okay! Thanks buddy. Makes complete sense. Sometimes the simple answer is the correct answer. Ha!

Why are some cards labeled with "Quest Action"? I don't understand the purpose. Thanks.

I have just started running this list with a lot of success. It is extremely durable.
Ethan
-Push the Limit
-Advance Sensors
-R2-D2
Luke
-Lone Wolf
-R5-P9
Tarn
-R7 Astromech
Usually fly Ethan and Tarn together, Luke in the flank. Ethan is a beast in the this build. Give it a try, I think you will enjoy it. The Ewing is by far my favorite ship.

I don't understand where this fear of the the current stuff becoming obsolete is coming from. Why on Earth would FFG release a whole wave for the currently beginning Star Wars Rebels TV show. Only to kill the the line and make them useless. If this was the end, the Rebels ships would not have been announced.
Figure out what ships you want to fly. Build a simple squad. Buy it. Fly the hell out of it. Then, come Sept 4th, you'll know what the ships do and know where to go.

Does anyone have a good build for the Lizardmen they would like to share? I have been messing around with the build on Snipertroll. Lots mot mobile. It is fun, though does struggle against some really tight armies. What are you doing with Lizardmen?

Outside of any Weyland card, Snare is one of the best cards in the game. You don't even need to play in your deck for it to be effective. Simply make sure you are leaving four credits available every turn and watch the runner completely rethink how they run. With the exception of Scorched Earth, no other card has this much power. Plus, a occasional flatline is also fun. A little smoke from the ears… Ha! Love playing the Corp.
