  1. 1) I think that every time you are in the same space with a mummy you take a wound. It says in the rules : "A Mummy wounds an Adventurer if... ...An Adventurer and a Mummy remain in the same space from one round to the next". I think it implies that even when you pass through a space occupied by a mummy you take a wound. 2) I think only in the WLL you can use equipment cards to discard wound cards and it doeesn't cost an action to heal.
  2. I think it means that after spending five clue tokens to seal a gate you may play this card (and take a doom token from the Ancient One's doom track flip it over to its elder sign side and place it on the area). So it works like an elder sign card and the area has only one elder sign token. This is how i understand it works!
  3. Great! thx that was quite helpful!! And one more thing: If I stay in an area on consecutive turns do i have to draw preliminary encounters each round ? I read in a forum that i have to but its kind of strange to do so since the encounter is "preliminary"!! Thx again!
  4. I had the same dilemma myself after playing a few times and realized that this is one of the best games i ve ever played! So I decided to do a "little" research on which expansions to buy (if not all!). Ive reached to a conlusion that: From the big expansions I should buy in that order: Dunwich Horror: one of the best expansions and the one to start with in terms of difficulty. Innsmouth Horror: probably the best expansion but quite difficult to start with. Kingsport Horror: not quite preffered when it comes to what it adds to the game. Miskatonic Horror: it comes last just because is an expansion to the expansions! From the small expansions: The King in Yellow: it's the atmosphere and what it adds to the game. The Lurker at the Threshold: it makes the game easier and combines well with the other expansions. The Black Goat of the Woods: it makes the game even more difficult. Curse of the Dark Pharaoh: it's like an extension to the base game. Hope this was helpful!
  5. Recently I bought Anima: Twilight of the Gods. I don't have the previous two games and I'm a bit confused on how the advantage cards are played. 1) Which advantage cards are discarded after been used? 2) Do ability cards remain in play, are discarded or they are returned to the player's hand after use? 3) The Artifacts stay in play until they are replaced? Do they count against max hand size? Thanks!
