  1. Thank you :-) So you cannot do what you can do in Elder sign by bringing multiple investigators to the same place to overcome the difficulties. Or like you'd do in Call of Cthulhu RPG. It's a weird 'flavour-design' decision that i do not like to be honest. I can understand it from a game design perspective, but it feels very anti Cthulhu gaming.
  2. Hello My understanding of the rules is : even if 2+ investigators are on the same place, they encounter the monster individually. So you cannot create a 'group' to go and fight a big monster by adding the Strength values. Is it correct? Thanks !!

They have those black armors, with Inquisition signs on it, and to an experienced officer of the Imperial Guard for example, even if he doesnt know all the Astartes Chapter by heart, he can recognize soemthing 'unusual'. I know that the Astartes and more than that the Deathwatch doesnt explain the how and why to the puny mortals, they must sometimes do so and i wanted to have your feedbacks and solutions for this situation. Thanx and happy holidays !! Golgorosh I don't understand your question, why you need to explain your mission and to who? an example... during a planet infestation of tyrannid on the planet there are: pdf force and ultramarine force. soon came an inquisitor with a kill team. the pubblic purpose was to help.... (and all the people know that they are deathwatch kill team) Become that's my point You're not supposed to tell you're DW. Or maybe i didnt get your point (cause of my english) But like many of you says, the imperial citizen sees Astartes in black and that's it. Now what happens if you meet commanders of the Imperial Guard where your actions seems covert. Seems that even the big guys in the IG dont know that the Deathwatch is there (or even exists).
