  1. Autocannon + Soul Snatcher. Enjoy stacking aember to the high heavens with Bad Penny.

    Shedding Chains

Wouldn't be a ffg production if the rules was actually clear and didn't need an extensive FAQ section. ?
  3. Pitlord/Pitdemon I don't remember puts a restriction on yourself to only be able to activate Dis aslong as he's on the board. (Restringuntus?) another Dis creature can block an opponents house from being activated aslong as he's on the board. Lot's of fun stuff in that Dis pile. I also like the demon that restricts the opponent to only play two cards a turn aslong as he's out.
  4. Shouldn't be a problem no. Im sure some industrious person could whip up a randomized deck script for it aswell.
  5. Just goes to show that *** product can really sell when having a great IP to back them up. I'm sad now seeing how much they have brought in so far. Scalpers all of them I bet.
  6. Well they did go over that alittle, he just didn't want to answer at that point, something in the works yadda yadda yadda. Like ranged units was some kind of company secret or something. Pfft. If they do forgo having ranged units then that would just be really really weird.
  7. I can just imagine the backlash FFG would have gotten if they had gone the kickstarter road and acted like CMON. Oh hey, check out our new game "Runewars Miniatures Game" It will include Daqan, Waiqar and Latari... Oh what about Uthuk Y'llan you say? Well that's a kickstarter exclusive, better buy it when it's available or tough luck loser. kek. But don't worry, if you buy the game after the kickstarter is over you will have about 30% of the available units of Daqan, Waiqar and Latari to play around with. The rest is kickstarter exclusives. We love all our fans that gives us money in advance <3. PS: **** the rest of our fans.
  8. Just watched the whole demo game and... Wow, A song of ice and fire just looks absolutely terrible. The system just looks sooo bad. Can't imagine the upcoming kickstarter of it doing well. Selling on the IP maybe. What a shame, was looking forward to it and all of those hopes just drained away.
  9. Lots of hits and misses with Kickstarter for sure. What I really hate about it is established companies throwing up their **** there all the time like Zombicide popping up every other month or so it feels like, only selling well because you either buy it on kickstarter to get all the millions of exclusives or you don't buy it at all because the store bought edition will suck or be devoid of content without all the good extras. I love Kingdom Death: Monster-Breaker of Wallets for example, hard to find someone with such a passion for his own creation like Adam Poots. My girlfriend would probably kill me if she knew how much I spent on those two kickstarters.
  10. It's a well-known fact that wizards wear monocles damnit, nothing else really matters aslong as they wear monocles. Plus points if said wizards have totally awesome ninja Abraham Lincoln looking companions that dual wields nunchucks made from canadian lumber for the sole reason of it being cool. Aah, nostalgia sure takes me back to the good ol days of the internet.
  11. But then comes the question. Why wouldn't the 6 tray option come with the same option of having a banner instead of the champion?
  12. Ok. So the Deepwood Archers have two of the same tray setup and cost but different available upgrades to them? What's the point?
  13. The update will be a single picture of a FFG employee in the process of filling up a bucket with salt.
  14. Yeah. You can clearly see the sword in its scabard in the art and it's just switched on the infantry model. No biggie. The cavalry Ankaur is still using the scythe dagger like that artwork.
  15. The big problem with lore is that you either do it right the first time or end up like Games Workshop and just retcon the **** out of whatever they feel like whenever they feel like just because. So as Ywingscum said, a loose framework is all you need to make your own lore that fits you and your own army.
  16. They had a conversation in the Runewars Tactics subforum about the Crossbowman, might want to check it out if that gives you any ideas.
  17. I wish I could have my Deepwood Archers setup 5 wide like the first picture haha.
  18. Ankaur leaned in closer to the fallen Daqan lord, slowly raising his arm with hesitation. -Can I touch it... the mustache I mean. Ever since you beat me that day I've been smitten by your handsome manly mustache clad face. They don't call you Hawt for nothing. Ankaur's blighted and halfrotted like skin was visibly blushing now in a sickly purpleish hue. Hawthorne responed with a blank dead purple eyed stare - Ooo GRRr oRR!! Ankaur started giggling like a school girl - Oh Hawthorne, you know just what to say. Then he swooped up Hawthorne in his arms and rode out into the night while the reanimates shuffled around haphazardly and clapping as excitedly as just a walking pile of bones could do. It totally fits the lore I tells ya! ... Toodles!
  19. Definetly. Making that Oathsworn/Deathknight potential charge into a harmless march not only saving you from alot of pain and suffering but potentialy giving the enemy a panic token aswell to boot. Rough.
  20. Make your own Epic lore from the battles you fight. I mean nothing is stopping you from making that Kari a "general" in your own army. Remember that time when everything standing between a defenseless Daqan hamlet and a throng of Reanimates was a lone hero(Kari) supported by her trusted Deepwood Archer allies risking their lives to save the innocent. Against all odds beating back the wretched undead and thus forming a strong bond with said hamlet. Maybe that could show up in your army as a modified Spearman unit that looks poorly equiped concidering their farmer background pledging their aid against the undead scourge. Anything is possible for those with the drive and imagination to play around alittle with their models. I'm not, I suck at it :P. But still.
  21. I'm so looking forward to starting my Latari collection, the Aymhelin Scion are just so cool. Still don't have my Daqan painted though. Ugh.
  22. Isn't she just basicly Legolas but female? They do have the same weapon loadout. I mean Legolas did some sweet moves during battle switching between bow and swords and all that.
  23. I wanted a bright color scheme for my Daqan. Going for a Yellow/Grey combination with silver lining for my metal bits except for the spear tip ofcourse(Work in progress). From your prefered colors I would definetly go for a Red/White combo with maybe a darker metal color?
  24. Silly nathrotep calling other people kids and saying they can't understand certain things when you yourself has the mindset of a 6-yearold who goes "My dad is greater than your dad!" and then stuffs his fingers in his own ears screaming "Nanananana, I can't hear you! lalalalala" from the top of his lungs just shows how stupid and immature you really are. And just proves my first post true that you are just trolling. Funny thing you said aswell, being that you almos always played the OL. You must have really sucked ass as the OL if your friends ever won a single game of Descent. Since Descent is borderline broken in every aspect of the game. You must and really MUST use houserules to even make the game playable for the heroes to even stand a small chance of winning. I myself own every Descent game leading up to road to legends(most broken **** ever btw). So what it boils down to in a regular game of descent is either 1. You steam roll the heroes so ******* hard that they will never ever play with you anymore seeing as you win 100% of the time, or 2. You hold back the entire quest and let them get the upper hand. And let me tell you, if those heroes ever get's ahold of those super broken powerful silver and gold items you might just aswell throw in the towel as the OL. Nothing can stop these heroes anymore, what you might hope for is to temporarly slow down your imminent doom by destroying some of their equipment. So either you steamroll the player or you play like **** on purpose and lose as the OL. There is no middle ground here. And let's not even talk about those retarded quests you have to go through. Oh let me think of a good example, oh yes! The well of darkness expansion Quest 6: A hot time. Oh my god, makes me laugh every god **** time I see this completely broken untested quest. Just the size of it (41x38) makes you wanna vomit. Good luck getting through that quest before the OL reshuffles his deck for the 10th time. Let alone being able to play it anywhere else but on the floor unless you have some super size table to play on. And my god does the game take forever to play! Just rolling the ******* dice and counting it up or choosing how you will spend your surges makes you wanna pull your hair out in frustration. So if you ever feel like playing Descent 1 Edition with a couple of buddies remember to bring that book you always wanted to read. Because you will be sitting doing absolutly nothing most of the game while your fellow players take their turns.
