As I said in another post, make it easy: Use the same stats, don't change anything and just say that it's the correct version on that time
Easy cheesy. -
SW movies (old & new and without considering Clone Wars or Rebels) seems pretty clear and "defined".
Black and White. Empire is bad, Rebels and Jedi are the good ones. Proably, thanks to new material like TV Shows, and maybe new focus from JJ Abrams, SW universe will have some "greys", but until the moment, yes, Dark Siders are evil BUT can always be redeemed.

Is a new Force Power or some kind of evolution/update?
-
I have an easy rule for playing different eras: Use the same stats and say that is the equivalent model XD
-
I'll try to look for it XD It was on the "first" pages.
If Oggy still have it pretty well

EDIT: Oggy, do you still have the talents description I sended to you loooong time ago?
EDIT 2: Here, sorry XD http://www.mediafire.com/view/a7dyepa3d70o728/Talents.xml
It'a REALLY old version 2014-03-07, but will be easier than start from nothing

Long time ago I added here an old version. You can always work from that

An easy way: Use F&D lightsaber craft rules from GM Kit

I remember an episode from Clone Wars that shocked me.
The group went to Mustafar to a hidden location looking for "something" really valuable. A pair of droids were warding the installation and instead use some kind of "wifi" application, they shut down the lights pressing a button from a panel terminal XD
Of course, droids talking between them instead sending info it's another "retro SW thing" XD

I have another suggestion Oggy. It's possible to increase items HP or add attachments without any HP cost?

Hi again!
We are still testing rules (the previous one from armor/soak seems that works pretty well, but considering if rounded up or rounded down). We added a broader variety of armor possibilities thanks to this and reduced "non armored Soak monster "problem".
Now I'm considering to add to armors a value similar to the Durable Talent or even, make that some armors give that Talent. Add? replace?
Still on concept and I must discuss this with my player

-
On the next update will you add free talents as GM Grants or is too complicated?
Thanks and again awesome job!

Again, an awesome work mate

Hi people!
For us, Edge is an "almost perfect", at least for our gaming style. We could score it as a 9 or 9,5, but even with that, we still use some house rules and still see a pair or "problems" with the system.
We used (mainly) "CANON" houserules, but there are two major problems that cannot be "fixed".
Game skill/attribute ranks are too short and this can bring, talking about math %, not so much difference about characters "skill levels" just with % terms. Stats go (generally) from 1 to 6, plus extra dices. The typical stats use to be 4/5 dices against 3/4 or above. In other systems with broad number possibilities this sensation is just "blurred" (I know you want it XD) but in that cases, appear a lot of other flaws.
This brings us to the second "problem": The game seems that isn't focused for extra-epic looooong game plays due to the short range of skills/stats.
Mechanically speaking, game begins to "break up" when the 6th dice uses to appear.
Suggestions are always welcome mates

PS: Please, don't say me: Start a new game XD
PS2: Fallout Shelter is sooo addictive XDD

We only made a combat houserule change. Reflect adds Failures instead reduce damage. We are using the rest of the rules and are just awesome

-
Be open minded and discuss it with your players

At some situations I used Mechanics with Brawn because the situation deserve it. So be creative and if your group believes that is necessary, create some new Talents (equivalent to lightsaber forms).
Don't be afraid to create new things, Edge is enough adaptable to do it mate

Canon, Jedi and the Force, Game Balance, Starship rules, combat lethality and other forum "conflict themes" XD
I use to prefer canon. Some people gave some pretty good arguments, and I like to add my own one.
Personally, I like to maintain as much clear as I can the main universe idea from George and the "officials" sources. We can like it or not, but I prefer to know the most precise and accurate vision of the world. Old movies (Ep 4,5,6) acting was just HORRIBLE! But it's just MY HORRIBLE canon movies XD
Apart from that I say that it's IMPOSSIBLE to roleplay just with canon info. I don't use to break canon stories, but I add new elements trying to preserve the universe coherence and the original construction as much as I can. Legends for me, have the same value that a good friend writing a good story, if I like, I would use it, no more no less, but always considering that those new ideas doesn't contradict canon.
I would also add that, the same way that "pro-canon" should respect people who wants a more "free world" options, "anti-canon" should respect people that say that they only use canon, this isn't so complicated. You can like Justin Bieber or not, but respect the other side... well, in this case there is only one good pick: HATE HIM XD
EDIT: Sorry I lied, the true reason is David's Filoni COOL cowboy hat XDD
