Reckless Strike to overpowered?
AstaresVimes replied to AstaresVimes's topic in WFRP Rules Questions
Its not that hard if the player has 5+ toughness Fatigue is not very hard in most combats, often the players can keep it down and use actions like access situation if necessary. -
Reckless Strike to overpowered?

AstaresVimes said: I have a character in my party who has maxed out his strengh and is using the reckless strike action in his combat rotation. Buy just schiving three hammers and one eagle he is doing around 20 damage (6 for strengh, 5 for weapon, 3 for extra damage and 6 again for the extra strengh bonus and one for thug bonus I think). I combination with pretty low colddown (2), he can pump it out very often. I don't think its balanced with the penalty that you must put 2 recharge tokens on a active defence to use this ability, becuse its not that much and you can always put it at at the same one, or one recharging... But what do you think? I just reflected about this, as the insanly good Double Strike got nerfed. -

Hi! As this is my second time as GM, want some advice and feedback on my planned adventure. The party is consisting of 6 this characters: Urkel: A cunning doctor and insane madman with strange, dark desires to test all possible experiments with the human body (and other bodies too!). Currently realise that the Aethyr is flowing trough him, he has donate a lot of money to the College of Heavens (think its called) to become a apperentice. Very intelligent but have strange ideas about almost everything. Wolfgang "Little Brother": Stupid, violent drunkard with a insanely strengh and body (Strengh 6, Toughness 5!). He is constantly drinking beer but is never intoxicated becuse he passes all the resilience tests he is forced to take. He has a good heart, but solve almost every problem with the fists... Porta: The actual "leader" of the ragtag party. He is nor stupid nor smart, and a strong fighter who prefer his two-handed sword. Very unloyal and "plain" character (in other words, boring). Emila: A good-hearted Shaylla-priest. Does not really fit in the party. Unlike everyone else, she is a character with good ambitions to be something. ...and one additional character the previous Game Master will play (his nickname is Esel XD). Porta, Little Brother and Urkel posses around 200 gold each from a previous adventure (that in my opinion ****** the money balance up). In combination with their approch that everything they do must favour themselves, it will be rather hard to kick them out in the world. But this is my idea; ==Spoilers== Donät read this if you live in Sweden, Halmstad The party is on their way to a village to buy a company (to make more money...). Well there, they realise the village is threatened by some kind of monsters in the woods. They venture out to kill them ( to save their invested company... to save money ). When they defeat the monsters (it will be Giant Wolves or Spiders i think), their talents is heard of and they are invited to a personal meeting with Erik von Grimaldius, a noble in a town one days trvel from there. He will give them the task to solve a strange mystery. Something evil is heppening in the Mirrored Marsh, and the players will realise that the monters they fighted had fled from the marsh... (spooky moment). They will solve the problem (have to do something cool, havent figure out what it will be, but it will be related with the rest of the campaign) When they evetually suceeds, Erik will give them more tasks of importance with the promise that if they serve him well, he has friends that can enoble them. They will be sended out on various small adventures with what seems like noble goals, but i reality, they are serving chaos becuse Erik is a insidious Lord of Change in disguise, and has been for many years. Now, the time about to fufill his evil masterplan, and the players will be helping him with it... Of course this is not a complete campagin by any means, and i will really make the adventures so they give small, fragile clues what is going on, so in the end, when Eriks true form is finally revealed, the players will have that "we should have seen that" feeling. I have a lot more planning to do, but is this a cool idea or just crap? What should I think of as GM? Please post feedback
