Except that most of the "bans" are things folks have been calling for over the last few months because they have all been problematic cards for quite a while.  Also there have been plenty of "events" over the quarantine period via online tournaments and leagues so I wouldn't say that there is no way to test the effects of this list change.

Yeah... if you like story, AH3rd is way to go. Ofcourse everything is up personal taste, but I and my rpg friends like AH3rd. For some people AH 2nd and EH Are way to to go, but in my house those collect dust.

For me it's about consistency. You go through your deck more with fewer cards and in a game where you are pitching cards for resources, reshuffling often is a good thing. Also keeping the deck size low in construction forces you to ask the question, is this card really worth it? Having extra cards is fine as long as you don't draw emergency when you needed shield block.

I don't specifically remember the exact conversion we used, but me and a friend did a 4 investigator run of TFA and wanted to use the same investigators when trying out Return to Dunwich, and wanted to heal some of the trauma to make it manageable. The problem behind the idea of healing trauma is that eventually XP becomes kind of useless once your deck is fully upgraded. So healing trauma on an upgraded investigator without any additional payment or consequence kind of breaks the game. What we ultimately decided on was a combination of spending XP and acquiring additional basic weaknesses. I just can't remember the exact conversion rate we used between trauma and XP/weaknesses. But that's my personal recommendation. Adding weaknesses to remove trauma at least makes it so that you aren't teetering on the verge of death at the start of every scenario, but it also means that your deck becomes less and less reliable as time goes on. I think it's a fair trade-off and one that actually makes for a more interesting playthrough if you want to keep using the same investigators.

I'm not really an expert with the various mediums and flow enhancers. That said, I've tried few different ones.
I think flow enhancers might be the same thing for the most parts. Usually, mediums are the same stuff as the washes and glazes but they don't have any pigment. Vallejo's Glaze Medium also slows down drying time making it great for wet blending. I have Army Painter's quickshade medium too but its consistency seems weird so I don't like that. Citadel's Lahmian Medium is probably the best medium I've used but unfortunately Citadel is costs 50% more than Army Painter or Vallejo.
My guess is that you'd be fine with mixing some flow enhancer to a wash to dilute it but maybe someone more knowledgeable than me can help with that.

I think I've got like 8 now?  I like to keep each campaign collected in its own box, including the Returns, which has meant lots of extras for the encounter sets.  It does mean a fair number of extra cards but when things like Dream-Eaters rolls around and I'm supporting 8 decks at once it comes in handy.

Hi! The main difference is that flow enhancer greatly alters the surface tension/viscosity of the paint (or wash) - making it much thinner, and enabling it to flow much more readily.  It's tricky to fully describe in words, but the moment you add just a touch it really alters the feel of the paint.

I think it would be much smarter to create a google forms structure that takes you from page to page and include all the "Current" codex cards on the list.  It would be easier to handle than the printouts.

My guess is it's referring to AH2e which became very bloated & the card pools became more diluted with each expansion.

Two new locations: Kingsport and Innsmouth and new ways to move to these two places Are good indications how this game can expand in the future.
Also new longer codex paths and terror offer a climpse how this modular game can develop in the future. Very promising to see this kind of development! Definitely waiting for Other World expansion in some unforeseen future. This fist big box expansion proves how easily and how much this game can change with expansions. We can see game mechanics that Are only used in one scenario, the game play can be completely different based on codex cards. We may have the old doom expand mechanic, or something completely different.

Codex Also can make It so that game does not get bloated, because each scenario could use only some part of developed mechanic pool.
This first big box expansion makes me want to see more of these!

Codex cards essentially change the rules all the time. So there is no limit how the game can be developed!
So the system allow all kind of changes. Only thing that may be considered as an restriction Are components. But every rule and every adventure can be tweaked by making different codex cards! And that is huge asset to home made scenarios as well as official ones!
and Also the modular board Also allows a lot of changes. Other word tiles Connected to normal tiles by portals.
other town and willages Connected by river, or railroad, or road or what ever. This game has huge potential to be what ever developers and players want it to be!
we can make new tokens to the token bag, we can have other word events in plase of journal cards...

Just asking, if you do white clothes fast.
What ink you should use if you want to add shadows to white cloth and still maintain the white color near white or is highlighting the only way?
Is there good option in contrast paints to do white clothes?

Don't know about contrast paints but white can easily show as uneven. You can paint the white areas first all gray and then highlight to white. Or you can paint white and then use shades to darken the shadows. This sort of thing works very well on sleeves in my opinion. Just dillute the wash with medium since pure wash is going to be too dark. The fastest way might be to wet blend. Paint shadowed areas gray and upturned areas white and blend the transition with a brush. You can then use dilluted wash to darken the darkest areas further.
If you try it with washes, remember to dillute it with wash medium such as Citadel's Lahmian Medium. It's better to be careful with the darkening effects so that you don't go too far and then have to work hard to highlight back. That's a mistake I've done plenty of times and always regretted it. Now I always mix in Lahmian Medium with my washes. It's easier to add a second layer of wash than highlight.

Hard to say, but revised core could be possible, but there is not much need for it. There is not much wrong with original core, unlike. L5R core, Netrunner core... even Lotr core was fixed later.

Killing the game? Magic wasnt able to meet demand for over a year when it started. The game didnt die. What almost caused the game to die was overproduction of Fallen Empires once they finally were able to meet demand.
Being sold out does not kill a game. Arkham is still very healthy.

I’ve taken it to mean (b) because it says “a [type of] resource”, which is singular.
I think if it was (a) it would say, “If you paid for this card using only [type of] resources...”
Also, unless it says “printed [type of] resource” then a Wild resource will fulfil the requirement too.
