  1. It's shoulder or back mounted. What it means is that it mounts either on top of your shoulder via your cyber mantle, or it mounts on your back and comes over your shoulder. It does not replace any of your original appendages. It allows you to do many fun things. Hang from ceilings and fire weaponry, lift a space marine and throw him, even if he's in Termie armor, and grapple your enemies much easier.
  2. My entire group agrees that they need to make the conversion system a longer explanation. They're still missing several things that don't get mentioned. Do traits not related to malignancies and mutations stay? Does the character still get the equipment in step 6 of standard BC creation?
  3. In the GM section it tells you that Chem-use has been rolled into Medicae on the skill changes table.
  4. 70 points in 3 sessions? I think your tactics are lacking. We've had one character drop in 5 sessions, and that was on a character the GM had designed as a party-killer. Of course, we've also had our main psyker hit 100 corruption, so he's gone, too.
  5. You can drop it another degree if you just roll for components, giving you a more than 50% chance to get it. Just get a Heretek with a high Tech-use and Master Enginseer and you're golden.
  6. borithan said: Oh, the Renegade also gets "Carapace Armour", which also doesn't exist. Carapace armor is on page 174, with all the others. It's a category. If you're looking for the description, it's in the bottom left corner of said page. FFG seems to have rearranged the alphabet in quite a few places for this book.

And that's if you only roll a 5 for your toughness statAlso, it's a little hard to be a wimp when you can lift about 2 tons minimum as a starting character. And that's if you only roll a 5 for your toughness stat How do you arrive at that number? Use a Servo-Arm? Yep. Even a poor quality servo arm gives you a bonus of 14, since the minimum you could score for toughness would be a 2, giving you 27 for your score, you have a lifting weight of 1350kg, or 2970lbs. If you roll a 5 you have a weight of 1800kg or 3960lb. I lucked out and got a 19, so mine is 2700kg or 5940lb.
  8. I've been playing an Unaligned Heretek for the last month and a half. Love the grease monkey aspect. He's also the party's lawyer. Wrap the Loyalists up in red tape while we break in. Also, it's a little hard to be a wimp when you can lift about 2 tons minimum as a starting character. And that's if you only roll a 5 for your toughness stat.
