    Note that they haven't actually had a 'case' yet (well, they did at the very end of the last session, which they haven't started looking in to yet). This is all just....you know....'setting up shop'.

    Okay so besides Bombing of the Supply Shuttle looks the the team, is setting up shop and just going to just another minor bad guy group in the hive.  I hope the gang war opens up some contacts with the gangs to provide muscle to the team if they need it.

    But I have to ask about the Supply Shuttle Bombing?

    Well I was away for about a month because of crazy work schedule, and I unfortantly just can't get discord to make sense to me

    I wasn't injured in the accident, but I easily could have been hurt. I had to swerve to avoid somebody on the highway and rolled my car off the road at 65 mph (105 km/h). The Emperor was looking out for me that day :)

    So far I've had a hard time making sense of many of the other sites that are intent on picking up the conversation. That's probably my fault though ☺ (Old grognard's disease!)

    :-)  if your scared Adept is blasting away at someone in Powered Armor I believe that when things have hit the fan already anyways

     

    But yes our gunslinger carries a pair of Talon III, which he uses for his sprayfire pistols against low level threats

    Grenades: here 3d* anything is dubious, in that number of dice increases probability of a critical hit.

    Let's look at stats for comparable items in RT.

    Upgrade "Micro" (Hostile Acquisitions): 1/4 weight and range, -2 Damage, Basic weapons become Pistols, ammunition is 2 steps less available. Applied to Auxiliary GL it gives{Pistol, Range 11m (or round up to 12 to have an even number), S/-/-, Clip 1, Rld Full, +0.625kg}. It's not intended for launchers or Heavy, so RAW only -2 Damage and no mention of Blast. However, there are Meritech [hand] microgrenades (Hostile Acquisitions): frag is {Dam 2d10 X Pen 0 Blast (2)} and krak is {Dam 2d10+2 X Pen 5}, which is close enough.

    Flares: Signalling Device (OW - Hammer of the Emperor) has {1d10+1 E, Pen 0, Flame (it's separated from Spread in OW), Inaccurate}

    Flechettes: there are no standard grenades like this, but flechette shells for shotgun give range +10% and Pen 2, i.e. generic shotgun becomes {1d10+4 I, Pen 2, Scatter}. You are making it hit harder than from a full sized shotgun. Also, maybe as unguided submunitions they should have Inaccurate}. Or just ditch it, but add other variant shotgun shells that don't rely on punch for effect (acid, web, shockers), since it's closer in size.

    Consider that should be in .454mag Revolver with an undermounted 25mm GL, the range of 35m is correct, and yes Most revolvers have load time of 2, but this weapon is quicker to reload, ie uses Speedloaders not hand reloading. 

    I will be honest, when this was put together for our campaign, it served mostly as a NPC weapon.  It was designed to like the Puritan-14 but for naval use mostly.  So at times it been a 25mm Shotgun and other 25mm GL. 

    It was wanted that the Frag and AP to be less effective the 2d10, so 3d5 was selected but you could go to d10+5 just as easy

    the flare round was really not designed for "combat" it just for throwing light

    and yes I took the Flechette from a RT book I beleive, and they hit a bit harder because the load is size is bigger, but don't gain the range bonus.  As for making them Inaccurate, unless you want to change all non Smart rounds to this, I'm not seeing it.  Flechette normally travel a predictable flight path.

    As you point out you could have a # of other loads, just the ship this was designed for wanted their armsmen to have these loads available

  7. Hello everyone.

     

    I've been researching the Web for campaign ideas and finally came with a with an array of several GM's campaigns. I am currently processing huge amounts of infomartion and it's so cool!

     

    Now, for this spot not to be TLDR, I will do a short plotline description:

     

    1. The party needs to enter a subsurface prison on an asteroid to extract information from an ex-Eversor Assassin, who knows a lot of infromation about their Radical Inquisitor. I am currently developing this part.

    Well if this a Inquisition Black Site, I can see it having the Eversor Assassin in his Stasis Tube as an Emergency Fail Safe should the prison be overrun or control is lost.   You know in case of emergency break glass.

     

    A regular prison, well yes the Eversor Assassin in his Stasis Tube is there, but well the issue is, do to paperwork mistake/coverup no one knows that what they have in the Storage Level below the prison.

     

    Either way the info they are looking for is his "Stasis Tube" computer that holds all the missions he has been on.  Of course the party needs to access that without, waking up Sleep Beauty.  If they do, well RUN RUN RUN  and use the rest of the site to delay him, while you make for the only shuttle hanger and boost for orbit.

     

    2. To enter the prison, they need to get a sentence. Since usual scum gets killed upon making crimes, the party needs to do something that will make them be sent to a top-notch isolated prison for heretics, radicals and xenophiles.

    Well there is more ways to gain access: they could be new staff transferring in or an inspection team there to check out the site.
