  1. Thanks for the info! I have checked Miniature Market out in the past, but I'll have to look there again
  2. I was away for the past few days and am replying to messages now. Also, I'm in NY and only trading in the US
  3. Before the next set comes out, I'm trying to finish up the previous sets. I am missing the cards I have listed, so I'm looking to complete my set and not trying to get a playset of each card....yet. I'm trading rare for rare, and legendary for legendary. I've only listed the Legendary cards I have to trade, so please ask about any rare cards you're looking for. Cards and dice are sent in a small box with the cards in top loaders and the dice placed in a small Ziploc type of bag. Please PM me if interested in trading. Thanks! 4. I've finally begun painting my core set. Started with the barricades so I could get the feel of it. Now, I'm attempting some blaster damage on the front of the barricades. I'm almost done with the barricades and preparing for the stormtroopers. My plan is to go with a desert theme. When working on the base of the mini, can I use actual sand? I was thinking of brushing glue on the base around the mini and then dipping it in the sand to create the desert theme. Could/should this be done? Or do I go with fake terrain that looks like sand? Thanks in advance!
  5. I have a collection of 1e from the Core set (w/ tokens) through The Champion's Purse chapter pack for sale. All cards in m/nm condition. If anyone is interested, please send me a PM. Thanks!
  6. I always think of the end of Beetlejuice whenever I look at this card...
  7. I sent a message to them on Twitter about this and they never replied...
  8. I know its been said by many others, but I'd love to see FFG re-launch Decipher's SW CCG as a LCG.
  9. Thanks, C3POFETT! This is my first try with painting miniatures and I'm going to be close to a Michaels today with time to kill and am going to check out what they have.
  10. Just wondering if I should try to pick up a set of acrylic paints at a chain store that I can mix and match, or if I should try to track down the colors I can't find at the LFGS? Also, is Krylon or Rust-oleum primer any good?
  11. As I've stated before, I'm a total beginner when it comes to painting miniatures, and I've decided to go with one type of unit at a time, starting with stormtroopers. I've watched a bunch of videos and have started my shopping list for paints and brushes, but there's one question that is really bugging me... which color to use for a primer? Some videos say white, other say grey, and a couple have said black. I was going to go with a white primer, then use black paint to accent the minis, but would like all of your professional advice. One other question is should I glue the trooper's arms on first or at the end? I'm already planning to wait until I'm done painting before I attach it to the base. Is it easier to paint and get all the nooks and crannies by keeping the arms separate? Thanks in advance!
  12. Thanks to everyone! I'm going to pick up a painting "starter kit" and practice on a couple if Imperial Assault minis before giving the Legion minis a try.
  13. Wow! These responses are awesome and giving me a lot to think about. Please keep any and all advice coming! I really appreciate it
  14. After being on the fence, I'm planning on picking up the Core Set and then adding to my collection over time. I am also going to try painting the miniatures, and am wondering if there is a list of recommended paints, brushes, and supplies needed? I've never tried painting miniatures before and am trying to plan and budget this out. Thanks!
