  1. Might been up Before, but anyone else who would like a really good HP game? I´m thinking of someting of the following for a HP makeover. SW-Imperial assult. This would be nice...both the story and vs mode. Mansion of madness. House on haunted hill style. Something similar where you build new maps each time, and where one in the Group is the traitor. Talisman style. Yes I Think it would work. The inner board would be Hogwarts and the closest suroundings, and the corners would be some of the other locations. So what do you Think? Any other suggestions? And will we ever get lucky ha ha? Best regards. Ps: Still playing the Trading card game, when I can talk my friends into it.
  2. Posted this as a own thread way back, but thought it would fit here aswell : ) when the last two corners are released and in place there will be two empty squares on each side of them on the long side of the board. So I thought, hey, let´s fill it : ) A small expansion with two small boards in form of Castles (or if you have another idé?) The castles would be covering one whole square and two half squares on the longside, meaning you could enter from three differnt squares, wich means you have a bigger chance to get in to a castle than perhaps city/tavern and so on. In the castles you would enter a courtyard wich perhaps could have a non-specific-market, and on each side there would be two or three shops (blacksmith, stable, healer, magic and so on, with a total of 4-6 shops to choose from) straight forward you have one big square with two small on each side ich could be entering the kings hall or something like that(where I dont know what would happend, perhaps the kings blessing?). This way you would have a better chance to get a place to buy stuff for you gold (wich always seems to be a complaint among players) One castle would be for the "good" characters and the other for "evil"ones, "neutral" characters can go in either one.You could also spice things up in the following way. neutral characters can pass any castle without problems, but if a good passes(read lands on one of the three squares infront of the castle) the evil castle and vice versa, either the alarm is sound right away, or perhaps rolling a dice to se if you are spotted, leaving you to battle the castle guards (not to heavy characters, but just a new twist) If you win you win (and maybe nothing more needs to happend, you just defended yourself) but if you loose, maybe you loose a turn or two since they holds you prisoner (nothing a little gold can´t fix he he) Toughts on this? Best Regards.
  3. Maybe not hated, but more of a "lame" card. The Holy Grail, come on it´s the holy grail and all it does is "you dont loose a life in the dessert" thats a bit lame. I think it should atleast have the same abillity as the Cleric has "instead of loosing a life, you loose one faith" Best Regards. D_M
  4. As many others I´m hoping on a forest and city axpansions for the corners (or similar) but when they are released and in place there will be two empty squares on each side of them on the long side of the boeard. The Forest Expansion

Velhart said: D_M said: People have talked about bringing ranged weaponds to the game, like bow/crossbow and maybe other throwing weaponds to (axe/knife/slingshoot?) I hade an idéa for the use of a bow. If you have a bow(or other ranged weapond) you could on your turn instead of rolling the dice and move normaly do the following. Depending on what kind of bow (short/long/cross and so on) you could choose to attack a creature that is faced up on another square that another player hasn´t killed. For example if you have a longbow you could perhaps attack upp to three squares away, and the creature can´t attack back. If you kill it, you have to move to that square take the creature as trofy and your turn is over, if you dont kill it maybe you have to skip a turn or move one square in the oposit direction as a kind of hiding/fleeing from the crature thing? What do you think? That feels like a assassin ability if you can keep the trophy. how about it, if you can use the bow during your turn to shoot a enemy up to 3 spaces away, but you can't take it as a trophy. The enemy can't defend himself and you could get rid of very strong enemies on the board. The bow would be a interesting object to get, plus it does not cost you a turn. You use the bow before you you roll the die for your move. However, the bow can't shoot without arrows, so you must buy some arrows, who could be made as thrinkets, as in the highland expansion. You could also include the longbow who can fire more spaces away, but it is more expensive. Your idéa sounds cool to, I like the idéa abut arrows, that you have to buy, and oh...there can be different types of arrows : ) Regular arrows with normal battle dice rolling, and then fire/frost/poison arrows with +1 +2 +3 to the dice and so on, magic arrows for ghosts/spirit-monsters : )
  6. Ah, we missed that part about putting a "double" token on the next square. Thanks : )
  7. Played the dragonexpansion first time a couple of weeks ago, and it was quit a good boost for the game, but a couple of things. First did we get it right? We did the following. At the beginning of each players turn he/she takes a dragontoken and places it on the dragon of same colour, when one dragon has three tokens it becomes the king and two tokens goes to discard and one token ends up on the gameboard where the player who draw it stands. If you end up on a square with a dragontoken of the current king you have to take a card from the dragondeck and not encounter the square normaly, but if you land on a square with a token that is not the current king you could choose to take a dragoncard or encounter the square normaly, is this correct? What happends with multiple tokens on a square? and how do you do with discardtokens? we took the discarded tokens out of the game, should we have put them back in the bowl? because even if we where only three players, at the time when one of us went for the middle and inne regions there where not that many tokens left. Only tried the towerside of the new board, and that worked well after you get a hang of how you move.

    The Forest Expansion

People have talked about bringing ranged weaponds to the game, like bow/crossbow and maybe other throwing weaponds to (axe/knife/slingshoot?) I hade an idéa for the use of a bow. 9. Thanks : ) That helped to clear out some differences we had : ) And just to be on the safe side, a follow up question. If like in the above scenario I play a strength 2 pikeman, and my friend plays the same....are both killed or is it a tie? Best Regards.
  10. Hello! Just wanted to see what you say on the following. My friend plays a strength 2 horseman, the I play a strength 2 pikeman...do I win because I attack and I have trumph? If so, then my strength 2 pikeman still stands, and my friend plays a strength 2 horseman again...then what? does he win even though I have trumph because he is attacking? or do I win due to the trumph, or is it a tie? Would he need a strength 3 horseman to win in this case? Any takes? Best regards.
  11. I got an idéa for a charachter, what about a "bounty hunter"? Not sure what abileties he/she would have, but perhaps something with chasing the other players? Example: At the start of the game the player with the bounty hunter trows one dice and if it shows a 3 then he/she pickes the third player clockwise, and he/she is the first target. If the bounty hunter lands on the same space as the target you could choose to take that persons Talisman if he/she has one, or simply kill them off and collecting a reward, and then start over again with trowing a dice choosing a new target. Leaving the killed player to chose a new charachter and start from scratch. Or a "explorer" charachter that could travel further than the rest, always trowing two dices and could choose either one of the two results or the two combined? D_M
  12. I can´t wait for the dragon to hit the stores, even if I like alot others it seems was expection a third corner, but hey this looks great : ) But that leads me to my question. Asuming that there eventually will be a third and a fourth corner, perhaps a city and a forest (but could also be dessert, swamp, wasteland, underworld, castle, temple, and so on...) Would you rather that they put it out one at the time with perhaps a year between, or both at the same time in doublebox for a higher price? D_M

    A caravan perhaps?

Searched the forum but didn´t find anything, so here we go. What would you think about a small expansion called the caravan perhaps? it would be a character that you could buy stuff from. It could be moved either as the reaper, so that each player trows the dice and move it, or perhaps just let it move one step in one direction at the end of each turn. Sometimes it feels like ages before you get to the city and can by stuff. Good idéa or not? D_M
