  4. Anyone near or at the Colorado Springs area play X Wing at a refualr basis, i.e. weekly? I've recently been bitten by this game and now got the bug so I'm intchin' to play. So far my experiance has only involved three games, I'm looking to add more notches on my belt. Please if you are out there, let me know, kinda boring to play on your own? Just out of curiousity, if you do exists, do you know if your local store will be participating in Game Night?
  5. Awesome Ideas gents… lets keep em coming. Since we mention pilots, what abojut Ability upgrades? Here are a few I have come up with. Power to Deflectors- cost 4 Action: Reduce your Agility or Firepower by 1 to gain 1 Shield token until end of turn. Primary Overcharge- cost 4 Action: Reduce your Agility or shields by 1 to gain 1 to your Firepower until end of turn. You regain your loss shield token during the end phase. Speed Freak - cost 4 Action: Reduce your Firepower or shields by 1 to gain 1 Agility until endo of turn. You regain your loss shield token during the end phase. Damage Management - cost 4 Action: Reduce your firepower, shields, or agility by 1 until end of turn to flip a Crital Effect or discard a Damage Card. Gain a Stress Token After use. Switch Deflectors - cost 4 Action: Place a Deflector token to Double Your Shields to either your Front Arc or Rear Arc until effect is removed the player as an Action in subsequent rounds. You loose all protection from the opposite Arc where shields this ability was use..
  6. @nimdabrew: Its alittle of both actually. I just wanted to see what ideas ould the future wave would bring. Yor thought of alternate pilots sounds awesome; perhaps Fantasy Flight should look into it. @ForceM: Think of it as the TIE Interceptor was to the TIE Fighter in reference to the YT1300 and the Outrider. Just a thought. @Norsehound and 721: I totally concur, now for pilots hmmm who would they be. More thoughts brewing in my head- EU has so much to provide to this game that I think Fantasy Flight has just scratched the surface.

  8. All the comments are valid and quite interesting. With the Advent of Wave two bringing us engine upgrades and shield upgrades. Consider System upgrades such as harking the days of good old X-Wing flight simulator. I feel as though it would bring a different element into the game. In X-Wing and Tie Fighter flight simulators, even X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter, you can divert power from your weapons, shields, and engines respectively. You'll need to give them access to somehting like a stasis field large enough to cover the thing - which itself will probably be huge, the size of a Rhino or larger. Ultramarines have confirmed that she may be planetside as the Tyranids have taken a foothold on the Southern Region. Secondary Objective: Imperial Forces are in Disarray, Ultramarine Captain has made attempts to rally and reorganize Selack Defense Forces. Locate the whereabouts of the Planetary Governor’s Assassin if all possible. Tertiary Objectives: >Support Imperial Contingents planet side if all possible > find inquisitor Falis >Prevent Xenos from escaping the System. You have 72 Solar hours prior to Exterminatus of Hiveworld Selack. You will have a 24 Solar Hour window for extraction after 48 solar hours. Make the most of it, we will not wait for you. No one must know your primary mission. Planetary Data As Follows..... That is pretty much the primary brief I am going to give my players for this Campaign. I have complied a whole campaign already with scenarios that I thought would build an interesting and pic story. Do you think this concept is appealing?
