  1. Hello again dear Cultists! Easter break is now over and Shuffle returns with a new post. Long awaited Blood on the Altar, featuring Talent cards is here. All of hem (and the other cards) now playtested and judged for you.
  2. Hi guys! This time I am featuring a guest writer and we tackled together a fundamental aspect of risk management. http://shuffle-oos.blogspot.com/2017/04/risk-management.html
  3. How to create a successful duo? Maybe some ideas of mine will help you a bit. As promised, here's the post. http://shuffle-oos.blogspot.com/2017/04/duet-decks.html
  4. How to create a successful duo? Maybe some ideas of mine will help you a bit. http://shuffle-oos.blogspot.com/2017/04/duet-decks.html
  5. I am drafting a post about matching characters to be published this Sunday, stay tuned.
  6. Uncovering the secrets of Essex County cards! http://shuffle-oos.blogspot.com/2017/03/essex-county-express-new-cards.html
  7. Not even one month passed and it's time for next reviews now! Hopeing to get quality stuff from your side again!
  8. Last, but not least, Pete. Now it's time for some other stuff ; ) Definitely new cards require a post or two. http://shuffle-oos.blogspot.com/2017/03/ashcan-pete-drifter.html
  9. Hey Network! I've been toying with a solo build for Jim for a while - this is how I'd do it (though I have very limited experience playing solo). https://arkhamdb.com/decklist/view/681/solo-jim-1.0
  10. For solo I'd strongly consider Leo as an ally. It limits his out of class slots to 3, though...
  11. One of the most underrated investigators! Jim Culver! http://shuffle-oos.blogspot.com/2017/03/jim-culver-musician.html
  12. My money is on Innsmouth. It's just too good to pass on - escaping the town, all the related Cthulhu/Dagon/Hydra stuff. Judging by Marie we should expect investigators with deck restrictions built around traits.
  13. Well, Rex is a true vacuum cleaner, when it comes to clues. Maybe you'd be interested in reading an article I had written about him: http://shuffle-oos.blogspot.nl/2017/02/normal-0-false-false-false-en-us-x-none.html
  14. You are quite right, haven't noticed it so clearly before - the focus has shifted a bit towards investigating now. At least until Miskatonic ; ) Standard Shroud is now 3, while it used to be 2. It also puts bit of a toll on Rex!
  15. We'll have a small expansion now, as we know and it pretty much provides us with all the "classic" investigators - leaving, if I'm not mistaken 4 "new" ones. I would definitely LOVE Arkham expansion, with Dunwich etc, though not sure if it's still doable (definitely would require new/alternative Spawn of Yog Sogoth Mystery spawning DH in Dunwich instead of Arkham, for instance). There are few "missing" AO, for instance Glaki. I would, however, mostly appreciate just a bulk of new cards for the existing AO (2 mystery each, few new clue cards etc) and some more Gate/Expedition cards (bit like Miskatonic University for AH).
  16. Guys, so many great thoughts shared by different guys and so little feedback? ; ( I was not surprised to see KP dissing Song of Dead (after all he critizied Jim) but was positively surprised with some positive remarks about the card (JC rightly pointing out you can have simply more combat spells in the deck, for instance). I actually found myself agreeing with JC almost all the time, is he running his own blog/podcast? When can we expect more scenarios' reviews? They were simply perfect!
  17. Hello cultists! here is the latest installment - a post about 3 of the new cards, and the thoughts they stirred in me. http://shuffle-oos.blogspot.com/2017/03/miskatonic-univeristy-new-player-cards.html
  18. Great stuff! I was hoping you have more love for Oops, but apparently again, you have less. Will add this link too, would appreciate if you mention my post as well ; )
  19. High level overview of the new cards! http://shuffle-oos.blogspot.com/2017/02/miskatonic-univeristy-new-player-cards.html AND you pay 2 resources and an action for it!
  20. I was considering designers using this archetype. Once I saw Jenny, however, who fits this sort of approach very well just designed as a rogue AND Charisma being a neutral card, my bets went down to 5% of it happening. Is my bet as well.
  21. Thanks for the kind words ; ) It's a great thing, there is so much fan-related content in the network!
  22. http://shuffle-oos.blogspot.com/2017/02/jenny-barnes-dilletante.html Here comes Jenny, as usually, judged harshly, but fairly.
  23. I very much like rating system and quit a detailed view of each card. I plan to have more of a high-level approach to new cards (brace yourself, coming this Sunday). Can't wait for your opinion about new neutral cards.
  24. Zoey has been criticized a bit, will Rex share her fate? http://shuffle-oos.blogspot.com/2017/02/normal-0-false-false-false-en-us-x-none.html
  25. Once again great stuff! Are you planning to go through new 13 player cards any time soon? I'd consider posting a review of them next weekend, would be cool if we both posted around same time, wouldn't it?
