    The ponderate one is for results ponderate by how you are far from the National... So if u win in May you win the most of point * 11 cause it's May...

     

    Under is how many people play this house and who is the TOP for the House..

    So now a bit explanation of how we play tournament....

     

    There are TO in some big city (big meta in fact) like Lyon , Paris, Lille, Tours, Nantes, Genova,... We call them Night's Watch.

    Most of the times, there are at least 2 Night's watch in the same meta, and they organise a tournament every month, so they are why we have tournament every week. These tournament are not very big, so only people from the same meta come, and they are not all coming for all tournament, but it's open to evry one. That's why there is only 8 to 16 people in these half monthly tournament. But sometimes , people come from Swiss to Lyon for example, an so there are something like 24 player.

    But the 8 to 16 people are not always the same, depend on how you organise your month, so most of the player only participate to one tournament every month...

     

    More than this we have The Big Ones, the Regional and then The National.

    Regional are big tournament organise one per meta one per year, all along the year. And it's a good reason to going drink some beer with player from the other side of the france...

    And in June, There is the National, THE big tournament of the year were three quarter of the community try to be (sadly some cannot come) and that's why we have now 75 people pre order for joust and 57 for melee....

    We have not a lot of information about french championship, cause if french guy share lot of thing in their forum (i mean really, we post something that half of our competitive deck) before FC there is a time when everybody is a bit secret.

     

    ANs i will post explanation about french tournament every one or two weeks to explain it to people who can't imagine how we have such time ^^

    Ok not saying about game is because of us, french player, we hijack the topic...

    In fact, i think there is some solution to Martell, but with french championship in one week...

     

    And in fact, We don't really have to think about what house give best chance cause most of time, we choose a house and stay inside it for month or year, and sometimes change, but not cause it help us to win, just cause we like it (in france, i don't speak about the whole world)

     

    So now everybody complain, i think we can let you having your topic back ^^

    Ok but You Know soem US player said they wwant to come to Stalheck, and they are welcome, still in the european championship.....

     

    SO really , you have to think that for french people, way to say things are important, and saying it's WOrld just make use a bit annoy....

     

    ANd in addition, European think that Us player just see them as second hand player....So It can be a bit difficult to calmly discuss about this type of things

    Ok i think Katagena have to reply, but i want to explain somethings

    first sorry for my poor english

     

    1) In france you have tournament every 2 weeks on big AGOT meta

    2) Few people come to this tournament to compete but mostly to see people and play

    3) Really, the last tournament (little one) in Nantes 804 833 inhabitant  was played by 12 people...

    4)Fieraas, some player speak about going to gencon for year now, but the problem is that lot of people work and can't pay and have holydays for planes to gencon... But maybe one day..

    5) European Meta don't really like American's because of two "fact":

                             - an old and deep "nationalism" about european

                           - Fact that we think we have more player but nobody hear us at FFG, like if only american are important (for example, people in french forum say that martell will be bann just because americain complain, but french don't have the same way to see AGOT and deckbuild. And really the first thing people said in french forum when they see some of your choice for your "regional" deck was "How can they win???")

    But i don't write all that just for problem, i just want to explain the post of Katagena . But really the first real feeling we have (after complaining, we are french at allgran_risa.gif) was to be sad for NYC TO....Really angel.gif

    Hi all, so i'm french guy, and with french, we use wippien to both create a VPN and know who is on for playing OCTGN.

     

    If some people are interrested to play with us you  can download wippien here : www.wippien.com/download.php

    You have then to create an account Jabber, just be sure to have this data :

    * Resource : Wippien IM3
    * Server : wippien.com
    * Port : 5222

     

    now you have an address like this name@wippien.com.

    so if u want to play with french people just take our addres here : letronedeferjce.forumactif.com/t1108-wippien-reseaux-de-joueurs-pour-octgn

    Just be aware the list in the first page is not complete. And some french people use french OCTGN which didn't work with the english one.
