Master Fwiffo got a reaction from Raistlin30 in Arkham Soundtrack?
Actually, a guy made an Arkham Horror soundtrack for the Board Game which was pretty awesome. It features 1920s music enhanced with creepy effects.

I keep a copy with my Arkham Horror board game.
I also recommend looking up the HP Lovecraft Historical Society at cthulhulives.org. They sell Radio Plays based on Lovecrafts work that are really high quality and make fine thematic background noise.

Master Fwiffo got a reaction from Moon-beast King in Free Triggered Abilities - once per opportunity?
I just want to interject that I will always refer to the Grimm Rule by its proper name, "Arkhams Razor: If the rules are ever unclear, stab the Investigators with it."

I just finished my custom deck boxes using Ultra-Pro standard deck boxes.
I've got one for each faction:
They're super easy to make once you have the deck boxes. Here's a 1 page PDF that has everything you need for one box for each class.

Google youtube converter mp3 - one of those should work. If it doesn't I can try and post my mp3s of it later.

Master Fwiffo got a reaction from Soakman in No Wonder I Thought It Was So Hard
So I'm running a demo Saturday and I'm super excited, and to make sure I'm prepared Im watching a couple gameplay videos on Youtube to see if I've missed any rules.
I missed the Mulligan you get, but that's ok.
What caught me off guard was that you Start with 5 resources! I had no idea! I've always spent my first two turns trying to gather resources. No wonder it ended up being so hard!
I wonder what else I've missed..:
-
Master Fwiffo got a reaction from shosuko in New POD scenario: Carnevale of Horrors
Honestly I feel they would work best nestled between full campaigns.

Do you tire of bringing your Shoggoth-Slaughtering decks around with rubber bands? Are you looking for a solution that makes all your other friends jealous?
Do you have a bunch of these ugly things lying around?
Well, look no further, cause it's Fwiff's ARKHAM HORROR DECK BOXES!
Easy to make, and simple to put together, grab your favorite class and bring them to face their inevitable doom in STYLE! All that's required is some Ultra Pro Deckboxes (very cheap and found just about anywhere that sells cards games), a Printer, and some glue. I recommend cardstock ad DAP Onestick brand adhesive for ease and no bleedthrough. A one-page PDF file has all you need to make one deck box for each faction.
You can make all 5 decks or just choose your favorite. Never forget your favorite class again! Get yours now! https://www.docdroid.net/j1yD802/arkhamlcgdeckboxmods.pdf.html (Thanks SuperMarino!) -

Almost forgot to post this!
The original template was made by my friend Norsehound who actually has an account here. I modified it for the generic Arkham LCG Template:
https://postimg.org/image/560mf71a5/
Simply print and cut, and I recommend folding with the cards in place (to adapt to your sleeve size - they're originally sized for FFG sleeves), then seal the back with two pieces of tape and you're good to go.
I hand drew and lettered the symbols and set titles above the tentacles. Then there's actually space down in the bottom corners (I didn't intend it this way but it worked out well) where you can add in the set icon and number of cards in each set. Final product should look like this:

Have fun guys! It's a nice and easy project with great results.

I love to hate the weakness mechanic. It's wonderfully thematic.
My very first game I drew amnesia on turn 2. Destroyed me man.

Let's be frank. FFG puts out wonderful products with awful awful packaging. So with an amazing game like any Arkham game, I find it necessary to trick out my set!
Putting it all together is a fun and creative side project that always leaves me happier with setup and storage of my games (I have separate suitcases for Arkham Horror and Eldritch Horror, and two sinister boxes for Elder Sign and Mansions of Madness). So what's your storage solution and setup look like?
I've yet to decide on a box, but right now I'm super happy with my token storage. Take a look!
The token boxes were 99cents at Hobby Lobby and the token bag I bought separate. The little deck packets I made myself from a template a friend gave me and hold the various villain and scenario sets. Now I need to find some deck boxes...
