    I searched through the forum not finding any information on how this card works.

    It says:  "Each player resets any of his resources dials that are higher than the amount provided by area he controls. ..."

    Do I have to put the dials on the level of my current area's production and then check if there's something higher?

    What happens if i conquered new areas before famine so that my dials are less then the current level of production? Do I have to increase them to the right level?  Or I just reset the ones that are higher?

     

    Let's suppose the card happens in autumn and that during spring and summer  i  mobilized and conquered gaining 2 new areas (all my three dials are set to the situation before new conquests: food: 5 wood:3 metal:2). The 2 recently gained areas give 1 extra food and 2 extra metal. The amount provided by area I control should be food:6 wood:3 metal:4.

    What should I do during famine resolution? And what about developments?
