  1. No, it doesn't. There is no restriction to the amount of uses, but it costs one threat per use, one monster per use. It says on the card you may use it "once per monster," Not once per turn.
  2. I've only gotten to play one scenario so far (as the keeper). It was 1-1B. I thought it was pretty good for a first play. The investigators were new too, so they didn't really get why I took their samples and ran, and before they knew it, the Shoggoth was on his way out the door. Anyway, I am playing with another group this Thursday. All of them are new players too, and I am going to be the keeper again. Any suggestions as to which scenario and objective I should do? Keep in mind, they are new players, but I have some experience, so I can help them out a bit. Thanks guys.
  3. Thanks for the info. I like the fact that the stories aren't exclusively about summoning creatures, or ancient gods. HPL had a lot of stories that had nothing to do with the GOOs, and I like the direction of some of the objectives. That being said, I'm sure we will see some scenarios in the future that have to do with summoning a Great Old One, and this would be a welcome addition imo.

Let me know if you want to try to put a game together sometime. I live in Tampa. I'm in a few board game groups, but I've yet to see anyone playing AH. I own the game, but actually have never had a chance to play it, because I can't find anyone to play with. Isn't that sad? I'll add you to my friends on here. Maybe we can get a game in sometime.
  5. I have only played a few scenarios, and I don't want to read through the rest so as not to completely spoil them. I know there is no combat with the GOOs like in Arkham Horror, but do any of the scenarios mention any of them by name? If not, then I'm sure that's something that could be added in the expansions that are sure to follow. Man, I'm already jonesing for some expansions.
  6. I've read a lot of posts by people referencing other peoples' complaints about tile warping. I have yet to actually see a post from a person who has seen the tile warping first hand. I have seen absolutely no warping to speak of on my tiles. I'm not saying it's not happening, I just started this thread to see if there is anyone on here whose tiles have warped, and if so, how badly.
  7. I agree completely! This game has "expansions" written all over it. Literally every element of the game can be expanded. My vote is for an Innsmouth themed mansion, maybe a gold refinery, shipping yard, or the temple for the Esoteric Order of Dagon. I love that story, and would love to slay some Deep Ones.
