  1. So you can probably guess what this post is about. What happens when a player fails an astrogation check, but rolls advantage or triumph. Do they: Jump and run into a planet, but in a shorter amount of time than without Advantage/Triumph Not jump at all and the get the time savings passed on to another check Other Thanks in advance!
  2. This has to be the most munchkin character I've seen in SW:EOTE yet. I would have him sucked out of an air lock and float away ... with the rest of the garbage.
  3. One of my player's characters was part of a "neutral" Alderranian Peace Corps-type organization. They were off planet when it was destroyed. When the news arrived, the groups leadership suddenly wanted to head to another location even though they were in the middle of a humanitarian mission. My player's character decided stayed behind to finish the mission as her cohorts left. After she had finished the mission, she headed to the rendezvous planet - Formos - only to find the entire group had been arrested for conspiring against the Empire - all the time she had no idea. Little did she know they had been working for the rebellion the entire time.
  4. I would have loved to have watched a scene where Aunt Beru gets Mable on the line to connect her to Old Man Kenobi to tell him to keep his pet Galoomp out of her moisture vaporators.
  5. Wow! Luke traveled 105 miles (as the crow flies) to get to Old Ben's hut? Kenobi sure picked a remote location to keep an eye on the boy.
  6. These are all great points! I'm wondering do you all think maps and minis help or hinder this RP system? I beginning to think using those items in combat may hinder the creative input during such encounters. Thoughts?
  7. Good idea, but I think that makes sense to me if they were actually grappling, but not sure if I would use that if the melee NPC were simply engaged with the ranged PC.
  8. Ok, that's what I thought I read, but I wasn't sure if there was some step I was missing. Thanks!
  9. This question stems from my current inability to separate this game system from D20, but how does disengaging from melee work. For instance, a shooter is engaged with a vibro knife wielder. He doesn't want the difficulty increase for shooting while engaged. Can he just use a maneuver to step back to short range and then fire at the melee combatant, or is there more to it than that? Thanks in advance!
  10. Great input everyone! I love the idea of the organization being a rebel front. I will pass the ideas along to her. Thanks!
  11. Does anyone know of an organization in the Star Wars universe that existed during the time period of Edge of the Empire that is the equivalent to the Peace Corps? My wife is playing a doctor from Alderaan that was off-planet serving with such a group when the planet was destroyed. Thanks in advance!
  12. Cool. I thought that was the case, but just wanted to get clarification. Thanks!
  13. Hey folks! I know that a character's starting equipment can not include restricted items, but does rarity matter? Can a character just buy it and have stroy reason why they would own it, or do they need to roll for rare items? Thanks in advance!
