  1. Again, Giving a 2xp ability as base ability is too strong. I won't follow on this one. So, for Hugo, what about "each time you roll blanc defense die, you may reroll it until you roll no blank". Should give him a strong defense and could be played well as well tank. 3 stamina is enough for a knight
  2. You asked me my opinions so here they are : Which font do you use ? It seems like not the official one ? I love Glyr so much ! Perfect. And same for Mad Carthos, Varikas and Red Scopion. Maybe Buldar's feat should be kept as it but rewrite, the way it is, it is not clear. Maybe "action : for each monster in your line of sight, perform an attack with a melee weapon targeting that monster". Should ve simplier and clearer. I am not so sure about Bogran. I was thinking of many other ideas like for his hero ability "each time you enter another hero space, you may move 1 space" and his feat "action : remove your figure from the map ans place it adjacent to any hero, then perform an attack". But I need to test this before having real feedback. kirga was a brain killer to me, but maybe the adjacent is a good option. The real threat on her is that she has good health and can avoid many attacks, so with familiars, this is horrible, and with the wolf this can be a weird situation. I do think that her hero ability should be totally removed and changed as they did with Ronan's Pico. And her feat seems a bit weak to me. I was thinking about hero ability "You lose movement points at the start of your turn instead of end of turn. You may spend movement points at any time during any player's turn as long as you do not interrupteur another player's action useless it is a move action" but no idea now for the feat Landrec should read "no surge" and not 0 surge. But offering this to all heroes is too I think. Many especially during act 1. I think it should be limited to once a round and giving him +1 stamina. Most weapons have around 50% chance of having a surge, and then it gives to 100%. Ouch ! Tobin. Giving him either + 2 range of surge + 2 hearts is interresting but I would leave it as it. Feat coule be changed to : "use when you perform an attack targeting a monster at 5 or more space. That monster suffers 3 heart"
  3. So, you give the 2xp skill unreleting from the Marshal as his native hero ability ? Isn't this a bit too strong ? And as a skirmisher, he can do 3 attack for only 1 action ? Seems pretty far too strong to me and I don't like same abilities. You didn't like my idea ? Giving him +1 heart for each resolved attack ? So, as an example, for his 1st attack a turn, +0, the second +1, etc ... and it could merge well with his feat making him fearsome. If you wish to keep his ability based on 2 weapons, then ... I have no idea right now but let us brainstorm You point is right. I do think that Trenloe is a bit too strong in the first place and should have a black die instead of +1 shield and +1 heart only on melee weapons. But removing the moving condition is a good point I think. What about "Each time you roll a black defense die, you can reroll it once". So, this way, Hugo is almost assured to avoid the 0 on his defense dice. And maybe adding +2 health to compensate ? Not sure about the + 1 stamina. Need to think more about it. To be honest, since there is already many warrior heroes and since I don't like Hugo, I've putted him away. But I like you idea, so you may find a way.

  5. Mad Carthos is a good that way, I used to play it often, only his feat seems strange to me, I don't see the point with having damage bonus for a feat and stamina reduction (and as runemaster, he cannot use break the rune without a stamina bonus)

  10. I have already use my version of this hero and he is really strong, believe me : hacking 5 move and 5 stamina is strong, and you have many possibilities for giving/finding potions. Having is base ability to affect all heroes with potion is stupidily broken. I used hum like that and we immediately ban him for this. Example : you have 4 heroes and 1 stamina potion and 1 health potion. Mage hero use his home power ans put himself full fatigue and ends his turn adjacent to Aurim, same for warrior and scout and then as a single action, each hero recover all health and all stamina. Full. And they can do this 3 times a quest ! No feat can do suce stupidily strong thing, none. Mok compared to this is nothing. You never played him, indeed. And please forget this ugly bad cutter artwork Gold is an issue, but affecting each hero adjacent for free is another one. Maybe : "when you use a potion, 1 adjacent hero is also affected" or "when you use a potion, for each heart and or fatigue you recover, each adjacent hero recover that same amount" but as he now, forget it, he IS broken !

Changed the hero ability so even the power potion can be changed to any of the other two, stamina or health potion, and this way, you have very good options and can be great addition with Ulma Changed is feat, so, basically, does the same thing as if he uses a potion and affects all hero adjacent but with more versality, so you are not locked on potion
  12. CK cards were badly worded. Maybe players may take Mok over Aurim,but thrust me, he is broken. Once I'm home, I will post some, we will discuss about them 😉
  13. There is some cool idea, especially about Kirga. But Aurim basic ability is far too strong and his feat break all the balance since it gives you 25 gold per encounter, so at least 100 gold per act ! And Eliam ability should be perform and no make and is nothing really strong since he has brown die for a warrior. Wording is not correct for Landrec too. Should be : "Each time a hero within 3 spaces of you perform an attack and roll no surge, add 1 surge to that attack results"
  14. You are talking about this false kickstarting for a game so old that is unplayable today and with no even a new rule to update the gameplay ? LoL ... ! And they even don't want to see it outside of the USA ... another bad joke !
  15. Since expansions are always more expensive than core box, I expect few miniatures like 1 or 2 new hero, 5 monsters, some 3d tiles and terrain for 70$ compared to the core box ...
  16. Forget the idea to have an Overlord in this game, there will not. Maybe in another "real" Descent V3, if few years, maybe ...

In fact, creating around 80 quest would be roo much but I was thinikng of another idea : each hero could have a personnal task and if he manages to do it, then he has acces to vis personnal reward. Just as an exemple, could be for Avric if he raise each hero once or more during an encounter, he can have acces to his special power Who would be that each time he uses his feat, surge would give back fatigue too
  18. I was thinking of this idea, and it would need to create almost 90 quests ! (And that's some work, but I really like the idea !) Maybe doing the same with classes would need less work (24 standards classes, 12 hybrids) Mind to give some help ?

  21. I didn't like the flipping mechanic : It is a bit boring to do it often and since the side are differents, it is not simple to retain which aide has what. Maybe if the app was ding this and avoiding myslef to manipulate cards of and easily had accès to both side maybe but as it is, I don't like it.
  22. I did ! Constructive criticism is simple, here you are again ... 1 - Art is ugly, even if some like it, but more than hero art, cards templates, item, and all are really from an old age, and tiles are disapointing. When seeing the terrain and cards, it reminds me of old video games with big tiles set with big pixels and nothing really immerging and art that not even correspond with the game art itself. Miniatures and art are like they comme from different games 2 - App games are either random events with some buffs and race game or either like smart phone game with miniatures to retain position. App should be able to have a real IA, retain miniatures position, health and all to give a real challenge, something only an app can do and for what I saw it could be cards so useless and then should be 3 - Carton 3d objets are fragile, ugly, and useless. Even Mantic's Dungeon saga for 50$ was full of plastic 3d pieces, not to mention that build and unbuild it will broke it if not just by being pressed on inside the box ... These objects remind me of Minecraft style and I cannot stand it, we are on 2020, not in 1980 ... 4 - 3d terrain will break after many play because mini are heavy for just carton things so for 175$, the game will die soon and be no more playable 5 - Having an app knowing all (monster health, attack results of your dice, etc ...) and you nothing as a player may be fun for some but is a pain to me, I'm just like a slave to a game that is omniscient where I'm blind. So, just roll dice, tell the app, then apply results. You see this as "playing" ? I see this as being a useless spectator 6 - Miniatures looks great but I want to see final product, and on top of that, even if I can see good finition, I'm not impressed by many choices (bases, poney tail uthuks ...). Let's say this is personnal things ... 7 - Flipping cards over with differents status is really boring to me, I don't see the idea to it. Seriously, that's boring and a bit complicated and frustrating for nothing really fun. Games should not have mechanics where you manipulate things over and over because it is boring and you forget important rules, make mistakes, and lost track of your tactics 8 - Rules are nothing compared to Descent and game are nothing connected so they should had different names and exist as differents game line. If you know how to play descent, then forget it all, this game as not a simple word connected with ! So why are they both shame the name Descent since not the rules nor the component may be mixed except universe ? Should be another name then ! 9 - 175€ dollar is overpriced ! Dungeon Saga had the same amount of components for less than half of the price (areound 50$), needed no app, had a solo play using Overlord card and really simulating an Overlord, where Descent cannot do such 10 - All of my gamer's group hated the game when I presented it to them. It's not as if I was the only one : all ! 10 members ! So, none ever played with me, even begging so I had to test it alone, and all abandonned me when the test time was here. All of them, ten people, and I was really excited at that time, really, until I play ... Happy with that ?
