Rolling some X on some actions is frustrating, but it is some kind of fun and part of the game. But, if you are a hero, and it is not so rare, but you can miss you 2 actions by rolling X (or dealing no damages, but in that case, you can still spend surges, and usually do some minor things), so, if, for example, for each X you roll, you gain a desesperation token and 3 of them can allow you to reroll the X until you roll no X can avoid horrible situation where heroes cannot play at all since they do too much X to play (when you are around 1 X on every 3 roll, the game is almost set) BUT there is many ways already to avoid X is you are a hero 1 - classes or heroes (Reynhart, Skirmisher, Monk) 2 - items (golden mask, etc) but alas those are act 2 items so you may never see those 3 - Fortune tokens (but they do not exists using the app) On the other hand, the overlord too has some tools 1 - overlord card 2 - plot deck 3 - monster abilites But like Zaltyre said before, finally, using an already existing thing is easier, so, maybe, for each 3 X rolled (whetever the side), heroes and overlord may receives a threat token can be part of a balance rule.

That was a great idea, I love the idea of dunegonquest when heroes had inside sheets to play them for descent V1 and Runebound v2. Why they did not do that again is a sad mystery -

Sorry, I'm french, so sometimes I may be wrong when reading english 1 - half of these are already avalaible : Glyr, Varikas, Mad Carthos, Red Scorpion, Laughin Buldar, Tobin Farslayer, Landrec the wise, and Kirga are official artworks. We miss only Aurim, Hugo, Bogran artworks are missing. About official hero abilities, some are official looking from some BGG links. 2 - we already do this, I created them through hero forge. About Road to legend, I don't care at all, so I can't help. But if you wish official hero sheet as download or even small print, since FFG now ANA, forget it, you won't Around 80, but there is by far more warriors, and top few mages and healers, so there is never enough. This game needs few things to be alive without any end : new campaigns book and it is many hours of game again. When one played as much as me, new heroes, classes, and monsters is never enough. Never. -

you hope FFG creating 12 miniatures for 5 bucks ? Only for few fans ? You are aware this a total lose for them ? Maybe at 5$ the miniature, it could be worth the try, since they can do them at demand using 3d impression process, but don't expect more -

He already has many advantages and don't need more : allowing heroes to move (not only himself, sometimes he can allow 2 other heroes), familiars, etc ... with large health value, and his feat having 2 powers is great. If you wish of any change, I think that his feat ability could be opened to "within 3 spaces" instead of "you and adjacent" -
This goes against the rules, since the X should be treated as if the attack was miss, the only exception is the surge use for range, so would be at the same time ? I think the only case where the X should have a rule is on feat

Ha, you would cumulate effects ? I think that the game was not ready for those situations, but the Bearded axe power would, for me, work only if attacking with it only. So, in this case, having him 2 handed weapon in each hands has no problem at all. I think limitating it to only 1 weapon with 2 hands icons in 1 hand is still great. Adding him 1 stamina while he has a not 2 weapons is a good idea, but will be a real trouble to find the wording since there is not so much space on his hero ability sheet Maybe "While your equippement hands have 2 or less hands icons, apply + 1 to your stamina" ? Removing the "at start of turn" for the feat of Glyr has a little troubles, for example, as a disciple, he can use Radiant light twice, since he can spend his stamina, then feat, then spend his stamina again. I've played it for a long time now, and his feat just need to be a bit viligant. Many of the overlord cards have effect either "at the start of your turn" or "at the end of your turn" and you need to be attentive when playing, just a catch to take. But I admit it takes some time to adapt (since I've played very long time at Magic, these special case are nothing to me, Magic is really frustrating sometimes because of the tempo system) Why 2 spaces ? Since all effects of the game are at 3 spaces, it is kind of weird, and then can happens to create frustrations. But this proposal looks like more balanced, even with 3 spaces radius. Even if I'm afraid that even with a feat within 3 spaces can create balance troubles : a real overlord can play around it, and can move his targeted monster very far, so the hero will be lost alone in middle of nowhere and dead with no possibilites to be raised before one or two turns, and on the other hand, can be used to go through a place that he should not be able to and break some quests (like many other teleportations skill, the biggest issue being the Trutheseer Translocation that just do stupid things !) I hope I can try him soon, so I will be able to see more and give feedbacks Thanks, it takes me a very long time to find this one, a full day on the net to find it ! And I really like that artwork far more than the "original" one -
the Raven flock is by far more broken ; you can oftenly spawn it almost anywhere, sometimes having a bonus reinforcement, and since it can move to 4 spaces, it can activates many overlord objectives and grants many actions. The biggest issue from my game experience from many years

Need to think more about it, but it can be usefull, even if dome mechanics already exists in the game so you can avoid rolling the mighty X

Maybe Only if the game offers exactly what I'm searching for, yes, but highly unlikely, because I'm not patient enough for Crowfunding paying an item that will come years later if it ever , I'm not confident enough with this to give money and saw too much project that never finally existed, and because crowfunding is somehow a store killer, so, really unsure

You are right, and more over, it will create broken situation : as a wildlander, he can have 2 bows, using 2 runes, etc ... and this will be oftenly broken (need to think more about it, but I can sens it). There is no doubt that Buldar's ability should be limited to Melee weapon only. How do you explain he can shoot using a bow with only 1 hand ? I tought also of his feat, but since there is no reach melee weapons in Act 2, this is somehow an auto balancing situation. -

I'm testing him as he was in CK with only + 2 health and + 1 stamina and he performs great, with feat changed to after rolling dice and I think I will keep him as this since he is great -

Landrec giving surge for all attacks is as I sayed, is overpowered. I think that unlimiting is ability in squares is also too much. I still thinks that is base ability is great, but his stats are not. Adding him 2 health and 1 stamina is great and he will do the job. Not all heroes should be strong, and the problem is taked in reverse direction : some heroes are overpowered and should be limited down, not making all heroes as broken as they are. Need to test Hugo even if I don't like him at all ... Kirga as she is doesn't seems interresting to me. Need to see this with my friends, since I will play with them, their opinion is final to me. -

My friend and I are actually trying : - Landrec as 3 move/ 12 health / 5 stamina / brown die Hero ability - "each time you perform an attack and roll no surge, add 1 surge to the attack" Heroic feat - "use when you perform an attack, after dice are rolled. 2 surge = +5 hearts" and I must say he is pretty strong : being assured to have surge on each roll is a great addition, and right now, he is playing it as Hexer. He may fall sometimes, but unless he rolls an X, his attacks are great, and with some good weapons like Immolation. I still think he should stay something like that and adding his surge power to all heroes within 3 spaces is far too strong, at least, neither me nor my friend would allow such a too strong ability. Differents experience, I guess. Don't forget that I play the standard classic game with an Overlord (me) against players, so experience may differs from app or other when monsters are too much opp and needs more striking power to take them down -

I would say it works. The activation key word is here only to explain the interruption concept in my opinion. As it would work for premonition of the truthseer that is basically the same idea but activation wording in less (but lost legends wording are no reference...)

Did you ever see the Nanok's art and figure are different ? Nanok's artwork feature him with his hands and axes crossing in front of him where his figure is showing him breast open and arms opened ? I'm almost sure it was done to avoid troubles by printing the miniature and spend less money because having a miniature like the art would be really complicated one, with 4 parts, where the official one can be made in a single one. -

Bases are not for me something that needs to have some sort of work, it is a shadow that helps me see where the figure is on the 3D map, so full black is perfect, otherwise, it may takes me time to to find it. And on top of that, seeing a blue water base on a green herb map is weird, too weird to me.
