First off, very cool model. He clearly has the look of a mystic, or black magic user. I'd give him a ability to block once per game, any special used by the enemy. Also give him the ability to either heal one unit, once per game, or raise dead, once per game.

No, I have seen those pics, and they look very shadowy over the faces. Sorry too dark for my poor eyes.

I believe the problem is the poor pictures of the troops. Too much shadows, I can't see the detail of the faces or uniforms. That was the only thing holding me back. That and the Deluxe edition came back out over the weekend for sale, from some of the online shops.

FYI, If you read the fluff in the back of the scenario book, it talks about how the two arms of the Loth are synced together to fire as one. Like Ark stated it is ONE shot. Best to ya!

The plastic can be bent back with a blow dryer or using the hot cold water treatment.

It seems quite obvious to me that the TO most likely will set the point value for the games around 100 pts but not more than 150. Presently a boxed starter set gives 153 for the Allies and 157 for the Axis. Once games become more common and players have bought in to extra sets of troops and Armor 200 to 250 pt. games will happen. Even larger if the boards are combined.

The new point system, is a real help, and I for one say thank you. That said, I like my recon boys. But, to use them well a larger board helps where thier range come into play as they can shoot and scoot. Also, who to say that a special hero type in the future might come into play that works really well with the recon boys.

With the new cost system, we could see more and different units, because there can be a chance for points by models. Case in point the extra Panzerschreck. The new heroes might be future figures you can get in tourneys?? Sadly I doubt there will be any tourneys in my area, part of the problem is that it has been a long time between when the game was introduced and when the 1st expansion figures are to be released. I hope that can be overcome, I really like this game. IF I had the time, I would run them myself, but at best I could only get out about once every 2 to three weeks for a game.
