A full deck is, as outlined at the end of the Learn to Play Guide (which you can download from the AGoT 2nd Ed minisite):
- 1 faction card
- optionally 1 agenda (which can modify the deckbuiliding rules - currently, all of them do)
- 7 plots; you can have 2 copies of a single plot
- 60 other cards; you can have up to 3 copies of each of them
- cards in your deck must match the faction you chose or be neutral
There are 26 different plots, so you get a lot of choices with a single Core Set (over 750,000), and even more with a second one (over 1,750,000 due to many more choices for a doubled plot). I'd say the plot deck is where you have the most choice right now.
At least 60, you may have more.

I will never go to Facebook.

I can't handle the misnomer of the word "treacherous."

I've never met an automatic card shuffler (unless it's a $5,000 model in a casino) that works. Probably totally impossible if sleeved.

Just throwing this in. I'd be disappointed in any co-op game that I won more than 50% of the time. If you're winning 90% what's the point in playing?

Hi, and welcome to the game!

Have fun!
Part of the problem with these articles is they're not too newbie friendly,
T1 Deck Types
In my opinion / experience / reading, the primary T1 and T 1.5 Lannister decks include...
.
I have no idea what a T any deck is.

Just discovered it's how the low rez version displays. The hi rez is normal.
Thanks.

Why on earth did FFG go to two pages of FAQs per page? It prints out too small for me. Is there any easy setting I can use to get one page per one page of printout?
-
I guess this is FFG making an easy filler product like Love Letter.

A brilliant series of articles. I was aware of Traveller in the late 1970s (or whenever it first came out) but never played it. If there are two different versions out there do you recommend either one? But it does sound like Eclipse Phase is the way to go.

I'm picking this up and am looking for basic balanced deck like Darkbane's 2x Core and KotS expansion.

I find the video that FFG has produced a bit troubling. As always it has great production value. But it seems to be more than 50% of it is storytelling with related animation. Nothing about the game is too interesting to me. Collecting tickets for boats and trains? Whoopee.

That page 25 text is just poorly written. This question has come up many times before.

Just wanted to put my ten cents in. This website sucks. It's bad with all browers, but on any given day it will work less sucky with one than the other. I think FFG is a great company with first rate products. Why can't they get this fixed?

The only time you can play attachment cards is during the marshall phase. The remain, unless due to effect, until the character is discarded or killed.
-
And while I'm stumbling, why do the core decks for Barratheon and Lannister only have 6 plot cards each?
-
Is there any documentation on how to use OCTGN to play a game? I've installed per your instructions, but really don't know how to use it. Also your installation PDF says that the deck images are available in a location. But, at least for me it wasn't a clickable link. Can you give the web address? Thank you for your work.

I said it was like Ghostbusters you go around the city busting chops then if your rubbish you fight the marsh mellow man at the end…………Accurate description? No, but if it helps you get players…

I hate to say it, but most people don't play with New Caprica, so you may not get much of a response here. But we'll see. You may need to post also at BGG.

"How to get on the expansions"
I don't know what this means.
-
There should be a rule in which you can immediately eject someone from the game who's deliberately acting (playing) like a jerk.
-
Do you ever balance things out by using the rulebook suggested reduction of starting resource method?

My only "complaint" (if you wanna call it that) is that the Podcast isn't very spooky. A non-English speaker would think it's a podcast about gardening or something, not about a game full of demons, insanity, and the Doom of the world. Then again, maybe you deliberately chose to avoid the "howling wind- Muwahahaha!" type stuff…
I'm very happy with it. I want clean, clear delivery. Don't need spook house sounds and "scary music."

On the fence...AH LCG vs Elder Sign
in Arkham Horror: The Card Game

There's no feel of story in Elder Sign like in AH LCG and the board game.
