  3. Maybe she (or the show-writers) didn't want to take the time to explain that history or why she wasn't one.
  4. I think the only ones we know *could* still be alive and fulfill a role like this are Ahsoka, Ezra, Cere (sort of), and Cal. I know there's been some other names thrown around in the comics but they aren't well defined so I kind of doubt them as being introduced. Feels like we're either going to get a well-established character, or someone completely out of nowhere. I think you might be right that Ahsoka is intentionally staying away from other Jedi or force-users, or at least being very cautious about being around them.

  7. The planet they were told to go- Tython -has been in the comics. Doctor Aphra took Vader there, keeping him from finding a rebel base. It might have been one of the first- or possibly the very first -Jedi temples.
  8. His parentage is pure speculation at this point. ****, I don't think we even know if this species reproduces in that way. Marred by casting but the episode was quite good. The samurai sort of fight was nice, though there were certainly times where I wanted Ahsoka to do more Ahsoka-like things (like running and jumping all over the place). Perhaps she's just calmed down a bit with age and has moved to more subtle tactics. I suppose she was already toned down a bit in Rebels as well. Name-drops are interesting. Makes me wonder about the state of a specific character related to that one. Still, good fun episode. Have to agree about it being way too **** dark.
  9. I think Boba doesn't bother filling the mod slot and just leaves the points gained from not having crew to other parts of the squad or bid. Mod slot just doesn't offer enough. Probably still fills talent, illicit, and device slots. Maybe Stealth Device.
  10. I suppose they might be trying to imply just how bottom-of-the-barrel these troops are supposed to be. This seems like the last troops they had left holding a research base that was basically no longer in use, or was in very little use? I wasn't 100% on that note. So if it's something you're not worried about defending all that much outside of making sure the remaining techs wipe the data, then why station anyone of competence there, I guess? I'm making excuses for the show. They really shouldn't have done that with the scout troopers.
  11. One thing I forgot to say about this last episode. Even while the ship is still kind of rough in repairs, it was way more maneuverable in combat than I expected. Is Djinn just an exceedingly strong pilot, or is the ship itself a bit more maneuverable at a baseline than suggested by its frame and engines?

  13. Fun time, nothing special, thankfully nothing as horrid as the OG.
  14. Not good at all but 4 cartel marauders with deadman, contraband, afterburners, and electronic baffle sounds silly fun. Baffle's purpose here being to have a chance to self-destruct in opportune moments after a 2-talon, but occasionally useful to not be stressed the following turn as well.
  15. I think spurs boy at the end is more likely to be seen again but only just barely. Maybe if Mando gets word of Fett and goes back looking for him instead of the other way around of Fett going to retrieve his armor (but why didn't he just take it from Cobb Vanth? Probably could have managed it).
  16. Do we want RZ-2 to get access to Tech + Sensors? I'm not sure there's anything exploitable but wondering. That said, I like these.
  17. I can't think of a good trigger but something like, "when an enemy ship would use an action from an equipped crew," then do something. But nothing like discarding or anything like that. Strain/deplete maybe. EDIT: Or maybe it's a Setup applied condition card.
  18. There's been a couple of threads on it if you dig back. But I'd expect medium base, with stats not unlike other medium crew-carriers. The ship's original purpose seems to be similar to that of the Firespray-31, a patrol craft, so that might be a good starting point to expand from- without the rear guns. I don't think we have a ton of info about any of its special systems outside of what we can be seen used in the show. So maybe there's an illicit upgrade that's something to do with carbonite, maybe an upgrade reminiscent of rebel captive from 1st edition. There's some kind of escape pod thing on the top of the ship, maybe could be something, idk. I think we saw the droid in the prison scene do some sort of jamming so perhaps that's an action that's part of the ship. Maybe give it a cannon slot just to give it some options. Extensive onboard armory but it's all personal weapons, so I'm not sure we can do anything with that. Actually, the HasLab model shows a small turret over the back ramp, maybe it does get a rear arc. That model also shows a lot of extra stuff around the cannons, maybe some sensors or tech upgrades? So I guess I'd go Forward 3/Rear2/Agility 1 (not sure, maybe 2)/Hull 5/Shields 2 Slots: Crew/Cannon (single or double?)/2xIllicit/Modification/Title Actions: Focus/Lock/Jam (should it get a movement action? I'm honestly not sure, we might know better later this season) Once we see it flying a bit more, I might think Agility 2 with either boost or barrel roll. I'm also thinking Initiative might not go over 4 for the pilots but maybe Djarin is a 5.

  20. Is the Weapons System Officer good anywhere that has a gunner and missiles/torps? It's basically 1st edition FCS limited to all torps and half the missiles? It doesn't fix ships with other issues, like this doesn't make the K-Wing good, but it makes those ships which are already fine and can carry it simply better, right?

  22. Gunboats rocketing across the map on turn 2-3 to shoot you in the back sounds hilarious. I think that's the only trick you can play around this idea and it's probably niche enough to be okay. Assuming this is a modification upgrade and not a configuration.
  23. The way I was reading it, I thought they couldn't execute the 3-straight maneuver whatsoever, not even for regular movement, which keeps them from using the SLAM k-turn, as it requires a 3 straight.
  24. Extra guns could also be related to a ship ability but cannons feels like the right choice to me. I really just want everything that was shown in Star Wars: Resistance in this game. The droid racer, the aces, the other racers shown (Rucklin, Yeager, , the bomber, the T-85, the weird T-65, the new Sheathipede, the pirate ships, the Guavian ship, the Meson Martinet, I know I enjoyed the show more than some but there's so much potential stuff that could be added. Seriously, these three ships alone for S&V would be awesome. (Second two might be too big, I remember having some debates on that front.) EDIT: stupid broken links making me fix them
