reading after reading i continue to agree to add only the counter attack
and perhaps the fearless or combat sense (but I'm not really convinced of this)....but no more......
why?
i look at the squad mode ability....
my wolf prefer ever to choose the furious charge!!!! and with the tooth and nails........this if you want give the SW the correct look you feel....and also better define the if he his a wild youth or a long fang or ever
if you look also the solo mode....with his sharp sense...a wolf is very dangeorous.....
I'm waiting in hard cover, and when I smell the chaos foe I'll go out and kill by surprise....mi sense are better than an auspex!!!!!
I like also to specialize in tarcking and stalk my prey with my brother!!!!

problem to understand how sound constituion function....
i can take the sound constitutio for 2 times at level one marine advance......and also two times at rank 2 but for 1.000 xp......
why don't continue taking by the level one advance for only 500xp???

yes, this is a play of fiction......
but why all the marine are the same at level 1???
in the space wolf chapter you first become an assault marine, then a tactical marine and at last a devastator......
so, a tactical marine or grey hunter was of skill and talent from assault and tactical......
in other chapter are not the same process....so it's auspicably more diversity from chapter to chapter...
i don't know really well the blood angel chapter background....but a grey hunter is a good tactical manrine plus also a good assault marine in the same person, and this is why the space wolf are usually armed with "requiem and axe".....
i think the error was to try to use the same char sheet for all at the beginning.....

needing tips....
I like the idea of creating an assault marine from the space wolf chapter.
tell me wath you think about this story...the set was a feudal world under the domain of the SW (needing to find a planet, some help?)
One man(Grifo) want to become a king and create an army in order to conquer the regions.
In his journey this man meet Thorwald (hour hero).
Soon Thorwald became the captain of the army.
In one battle they encounter a deamon and in an epic battle they suceed to banish him.
Njal Stormcaller was also in pursuit of the deamon and be surprised of wath the duo was able
to do...and he decided to transform the two young in adept of the chapter...
the two beacame space marine and soon Grifo became seargent...
but Grifo hold greed in his heart...
in one special mission under the command of one inquisitor(female), Grifo turn to the ruinos
power and sacrifies all of his brother...
Grifo also ***** the inquisitor who had sworn to protect in front of Thorwald.
Thorwald the last one survived of the pack and was immobilised by the deamons
that came to celebrate the new prince born.
trying to rescue the inquisitor thorwald lost an eye and forced to amputate his arm to
free himself.
After this ordeal Thorwald manage to fleed with the inconscious inquisitor...
Thorwald was obsessed with revenge and disobey also to the old wolf in order to have it.
After killing his hold friend he returns to the fang to accept the punishment....what logan do now?
banish him?
killing him?

so, for my SW Assault......
i remove the wing of angel or wrathfull descend, and pilot (my SW don't use the jump pack)
with the 1.000xp plus a bonus from the romeved ability aftermentioned i gave him...
the couter attack (500xp) from chapter advance, also the hardy (400) and sound constitution (500)....for skill I add survival (300)....
i raise the WS, STR, AGI by five point (600xp)
what do you think about?

after reading all of this post......
I agree for give the SW the counter attack talent as a chapter advance...
If many agree I suggest to give to the SW one peculiarity....they have only -10 penalty for using the bolter one handed...what do you think???

yes, i want to become a DW when my fangs grow and my hair become gray.......
i think sbout 5 level in assault squad and five level in tactic squad....for now we play a chapter campaing....

indeed i choose some mod for my space wolf.....because he is a newly recruited blood claw and start like assault marine.....
i think to change from assault to tactical marine career in future......
and after all that do my tour of duty in the deathwatch.....
finally I don't understimate the ability of the wolf to feel the scent of an enemy
or tracking him......I prefere to be aware of the enemy presence an try to controll the beast within...

so, i can take sound const. for 2 time at level 1
after i can take another two times at level 2 but i'll pay 1.000 instead of 500
and if i was an assault i can take one times again at level 3.....right?
after i can take again at level 5 (x2)
level 6,7,8 (x1)
correct?
