Is it craft total or craft value? Also, you roll a d6 for your attack roll, plus bonuses. Even if your bonuses are low, like one or two above your value, you still have a high chance of not losing a life.

Again, I need a ruling from the forum Gods and Goddesses. A friend had a potion of wrath on a mule, which says he use at anytime. He wanted to use it after he made a die roll for his psychic combat. 1) Can you use objects, like the cross or elixer of wrath, from your mule (carry followers). 2) Can you use items that say use anytime that modify your total even after you made the roll? My friends and I are very new to Talisman, and just like in other games we get into fights about the rulings of certain things. The owner of the game landed on the Warlocks cave and got the quest to deliver (discard) 2 gold. He didn't have two gold at the time. So he went and beat me up twice, taking two gold from my vast pile of riches. Here is where we get the problem. As soon as he got the two gold, he said his quest was complete, teleported himself back to the warlock's cave and discarded his two gold, taking a talisman. 1) Is the quest completed when he gets two gold or must he first discard the gold? 2) Can you discard the gold anywhere or must it be on the Warlock's cave? 3) Can you discard the gold the same turn you take up the quest(Say at the end of your turn, before the next player goes?)
