  1. Owner of #702 here. I'm a little disappointed with the craftsmanship/handling of this miraculous tome. While I absolutely admire it, there seems to be issues, for me anyway. Issues when opened from box: 1: The wax seal for the Catechism of the Xenos fell off the paper it was attached to, melting the glue to get it back on failed. 2: The bottom front cover of the book itself has the "leather" seems to be loose or coming off a little. 3: There are some very noticeable scrapes on the silver lining of the pages. 4: The metal case hangs open a little, but I'm assuming that this cannot be helped (probably due to the design of the case or the belt buckle pushing on the inside of the case). Issue after several weeks of ownership, careful reading, and never dropping, slamming, etc 1. The back of the book and the spine is coming off of the rest of the book, glue is exposed and pulling the back page with it (the page holding the map, facing the ad) Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy what I have gotten; however the care into making this seems to be a little lacking, quality-wise. I don't thing there should be parts falling off when they are supposed to be glued on. Has anyone else had any complaints about it?
  2. Book# 702/2000 Yes, it is on the other side of the first page or two. I love this thing so much, but I must complain a little. 1: The wax seal for the Catechism of the Xenos fell off the paper it was attached to, melting the glue to get it back on failed. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy what I have gotten. This Collector's Edition is amazing, I am just a bit nitpicky and don't thing there should be parts falling off when they are supposed to be glued on. The Archivist
  3. Shipping order recieved yesterday, projected to arrive this Friday via UPS, (East coast) Here's hoping those that haven't gotten any news here something VERY soon! The Archivist
  4. According to my e-mail, UPS (with tracking number, thankfully) is delivering it to my house this Friday, US East Coast. Which, hopefully, means good news for the rest of you about when to expect yours! Cheers! The Archivist
  5. Raazorfiend: Actually, if memory serves, the ebayer was in the United Kingdom. Matheiu: The e-mail I had gotten had stated that it was on the boat. I made the comment in that it is getting (now) towards mid December and we've heard nothing as of yet (at least as far as I am aware). Feel free to prove me wrong, as I would like to be. ;D
  6. Sorry to bring back a dead thread, but it is now Dec. 7th. And still no word. Curiously enough, someone already has it up on Ebay, with cardboard box and all. How aggrivating. What about the rest of us, eh?
