  1. Peacekeeper_b said: Just got my Nazi Kong Squad in the mail last night. Zombie Redundant of not, my army is about to go APE$#!+ on some Allies! PUNS INTENDED! The look cool and I think they should be tweaked somewhat. Giving them Berserk would be a nice start LOL. Personally, even though the Zombies are not true undead, they are somewhat mostly mindless (me after a ten shots of tequila and a case of beer level) and it would have been nice to see some sort of drawback here for that (even as simple as "if attacking an enemy unit and the zombies are adjacent to an friendly unit, zombies may not be able to distinguish "friend" from foe. In such a case, roll a single die and on a hit result the zombies divide their attacks equally between friend and foe." Nothing major, easy to avoid, but it would make you want to keep your figs apart. Again, just a thought of the head nothing tested, lingered on or really considered. I would agree on the zombie test roll. Maybe a fail would cause them to charge nearest living model/squad. But if you have the totenmaeister (or however you spell it) you auto pass the test. this would make a great target for enemy snipers.
  2. I really like your paint job what color did you use as your base. I had bought the FOW Russian armor spray paint and it is a very dark green. tours seems a little lighter.
  3. I reaaly like both of my Sino-Soviet mechs. The KV-47 is pretty cool. I have mine about half-way assembled and I am working out how to magnitize the different weapon options that it comes with. I hope they are released sometime before the end of the year, so that I can get some stats for them.
  4. The game night kits is the only stuff that I have seen or heard of in the form of prize kits. If you email them they may respond and let you purchase a game night kit, if you let them know you are going to be doing this. When I had asked them about purchasing one they had emailed me back saying they would set one up for me. then I never heard back from them, but maybe you would have better luck.
  5. I don't think there is a problem with this, since I read somewhere where Paolo said he got some of his ideas and art style from Mike Mignola. If you have read Hellboy and BPRD you could easily see how some of this stuff would work well in the DT universe.
  6. AT-43 was originally Dust, standing for Alternate Timeline 1943. When Rackham had decided to make the game ( from what I read, Rackham (french company) was not to happy about the WWII setting and decided to make the game set in a SCI-FI universe.
  7. Just wondering where you saw that this has happened? I still have all my old AT-43 stuff and I thought it was pretty much dead and gone and I was actually considering selling it.
  8. Two normal walls side by side or height? The terrain piece that they are offering seems like it is only taking one square. Maybe it is used as an objective?
  9. Poyet said: we need sino-soviets soon Now I would like to see the stats for the bunny head mecha!
  10. Maybe something a little more like this for Cossaks?
  11. I like the idea of him maybe making a walker officer and be able to issue an order to a walker, but unfortunatly if he is supposed to be in the walker I would not be able to use the model and I really like the model. how about maybe something more along the lines of bot hunter and officer. since he would only maybe have a pistol his points could even out in that way. Attach him to a command squad maybe for the radio ability?
  12. I was thinking he would be the Axis version of Rosie. Any other thoughts of what he he may or not may not be able to do?
  13. Cost Vs. Size, I would assume that this is an unassembled model for 60.00. A deluxe edition I would imagine would run closer to the $90.00 mark
  14. That is super sweet! I can not wait for those to come out. Looks like I am going to need a bigger bag.
  15. Unfortunatly No, plane tix from the west coast were a little out of price range along with everthing else needed to go. I am hoping maybe next year will work out better for me financialy now that I know the amount of money that will be needed. I have a buddy going though and I asked him to keep an eye open for what may be offered there.
  16. OMG! That is a beast! where did you get the pic and were there any other things shown?
  17. I know how you feel. I live in the US and I couldn't even get a copy of the game night kit for my FLGS. Now I don't know if fault fell on the game store or FFG, but I am hoping they will release Stefan and Johnny at GENCON this year, maybe then I could get my hands on one either through ebay or somewhere else.
  18. Major Mishap said: Nice, keep looking at these myself, but... having it in your hand, what armour would you rate it infantry 4 or tank? I would list it as a tank. I would also think it would be armour 3 with 4 boxes
  19. Yeah, I don't know why they didn't just add the second arm in the walker box. Then both factions would have had 4 configurations. Maybe they did not think it would be usefull and people just would not play with it. Who knows. Oh wait, FFG does!
  20. I can imagine the main reason to going towards the poster maps probably has to do with the fact that many people seemed to have issues with warping of the tiles especially in areas of the world where there is more moisture in the air.
  21. marcemtp said: where the heck did you get Loth at? it sounds like a very specialized bot and with no ranged weapon other then the MG i don't see it as a broken unit to use. the points cost of 30 i also agree with. I got mine from my FLGS where I play, but I have seen them every once in a while on ebay.
  22. I do not understand the hubub about a change in the point system. Sure, now you may need a calculator to build a list, but other than that, I think the new list balances out the units. Maybe the simple points system can still be used to demo games since both factions in the starter set were balanced, but once you start adding on to that you have to think how balanced the system is and I do not think the simple point system is balanced beyond that. IMO
  23. The Loth was a promo figure from FFG before the game was released to stores. I also believe it was the figure handed out to those who got to play last year at Gencon before the Mass release. I got mine from the FLGS for helping to push the game in our area.
  24. There is a TPB for the 2 series of comics and I found mine on Barnes and Noble and the book also has a lot of imagery for different units in the back of the book
  25. What I do not understand is why Johnny One Eye and Stefan are listed and the Loth is not. Johnny and Stephan are also both promo figs as is the Loth, but their points are included. Go figure!
