  1. Any news on a release date yet?
  2. Oh, I just saw on the box contents list: 1 Ten Sided Die.
  3. Reading through the product description, it looks like a lot of exploring and text reading. I didn't see any dice on the pictures of the game contents. Any idea how conflicts are resolved?
  4. Really nice job! If I'm not careful, you're going to inspire me to finally get around to painting my Descent minis!
  5. Let us know how the solo challenges go. Also, as Napoleon Dynamite says: Lucky!

Is there a high res iPad version yet?
  7. Very nice JC. I'm definitely going to be using those!
  8. The solo challenges sound like a great idea. I'm definitely looking forward to this one!
  9. I noticed that the DungeonQuest page shows 1-4 players. Does anyone know how well this plays as a single player game? I'm probably going to buy this anyway, but a good single player game would seal the deal!
  10. Thanks for the link! I'm going to spend way too long reading through all of that. DRAT! Now I have to buy RuneWars! You are evil, evil Kartigan!
  11. I know it's kind of silly, but the box of prepainted minis is probably the biggest reason I'm looking forward to this game. I like to paint my minis, but I never seem to find the time. I'm still embarrassed of my unpainted Descent minis! I'll be interested to see if selling prepainted minis works for FFG. Maybe we'll see them for other games (Descent, Runebound, Arkham Horror!) in the future...?

    I had to post.

Kellus, I had much the same experience as you did (keeping the old game group alive), but with Arkham Horror and Talisman. I'm going to try Runebound with the guys in a week or so, but it's been a lot of fun with the family. One more FFG game I'd recommend is Anima. I'm not an Anime fan so the game didn't really appeal to me, but a friend bought it and it plays like a faster, lighter version of Runebound.
  13. I've been playing Runebound with my kids for several months now, and we just tried out Descent over the weekend. My kids immediately recognized some of the same characters from Runebound! That was a really nice touch on FFG's part and it built the excitement to play Descent. Thanks FFG!
  14. Frank said: How does Fantasy Flight Battletech sound to you? It sounds pretty awesome to me. To me it sounds: (in a good way!)
  15. I agree. I'd also add Decent and Twilight Imperium to the list of FFG games I'd love to play on the computer or on a console.
