  1. I can seem the find the trench gun or sten mark II bonus tokens.  I am guessing that we are suppose to use the crate tokens for those weapons encase more the one person want to take the trench gun or sten mark II.

Actually the only scenario I can find where it would be able to cross the entire board is Blue Thunder 3.     I don't see the heavy bots being very practical for the boardgame ,but when warfare comes out i think they will be well suited for that style of play.


  3. I think freedom fighters from france as a mercenary force for the allies or the ssu would be great. Maybe a generic mercenary squad would be better then a french force but a mercenary force would add a little variety.


  4. The Axis and the Allies hero packs are something that I can't wait to be released. A zombie with a buzz saw will be a hero i will field solo or with my zombies.  The other heros will be welcome in my collection of figures.

I like the look of the class 2 and 3 troop types and hope that when the sino-soviets come out that they start with them being more like the WWII russians and progress like the allies and the axis troops have. The Sci-fi look of the 3 troopers and walkers looks great. The only thing I would wish they change is changing the zombies away from class 3 to class 2.


  6. Irih Minamoto his sword has when you roll a natural 10 counts as two successes.

    His combat pack has pistol, student of bushio after successful melee attack target rolls one less die for shock roll, dagger has after making melee attack you may make an additional melee attack with it. Stamina has zen defense when attacked from adjacent circle add one die to your shock roll, imperial honor once per game if attack would cause wounds to eliminate this character discard token and make stamina test if successful attack is ignored. command pack rikugun chujo add +4 to initiative roll, willing leader if character with shogunate symbol on same path as this character may reroll up to two dice on attack rolls and keep the new results.

    bonus pack for  Von Heizinger  with walther p38, stake of malinal xochitil if you cause at least one wound you must remove all smoke, rubble and fire tokens from path of target or every character that shares path with target suffers one auto attack success including Von Heizinger. characters who take wounds this way make a shock roll as normal, hermetica ardeo all obscura korps affiliation on the game board  recieve one attack success but one fewer die.

    Trooper packs range trooper ability of you may sacrifice your movement on your turn to reroll your lowest 2 dice including natural 1's on attack roll. really not much unique abilities or gear except covering fire if you did not attack during activation can put character on overwatch without spending command point. kasai land mine you start with two decoy tokenplaced under token as action place one mine tokenin empty adjacent circle if enemy enters a circle with mine and reveal token if trooper face on it character takes 4 auto successes if a decoy return token to box. melee trooper has art of suprise when making attack on a target you did not share a path with at the star roll 2 additional attack roll.

  7. I have an idea for mercenary troop packs.

    French resistence fighters, British or Australian commandos for the union and matriachcy.

    Italian troopers or different demon tainted troops for the riech and shogunate.

    mercenary troopers from any nation that can be used by all the factions.

    I still like my prior idea for attack dogs and handlers for all factions.

    Pack of werewolves for the riech use only also.


  8. I watched my 2 sons demo the x-wing game at gen con and the prototype models for the x-wings anf tie's weren't bad. the runs were easy the understand. I re-minded me of wings at war demo a few years ago.


  9.  Saw the heavy bots in the case at gen con yesterday and the ally bot have 6 legs and are close to the ground. axis bots were four legged with very log cannons. wish i could get a picture for the post, but couldn't get a clear picture thru the case. tey are bieng released in the 4th quarter of 2001.


  10. I got a copy of the revised core set at gen con yesterday afternoon. the models look great can't wait to us them. Also got tank busters and zombies. Gen con was awesome. wish i could have spent more then 1 day there but got to work to pay the bills and child suport.
