  1. I have a question about "Arc Blasters" the Imperial XP card. It states that after resolving a ranged attack, each figure that suffered 1 or more damage must test strength in order to see if they are stunned. The card also gives the imperial squad it is attached to Blast 1. My question is: Does every figure who is damaged by the Blast 1 have to test to see if they are stunned? Or does this only affect the figure being attacked?
  2. Im sorry this is just stupid lol. Give it a week or 2 and it will be on ebay for like 50 bucks. Someone's bitter that they didn't get a copy....
  3. http://www.ebay.com/itm/330993866040?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 $100 isn't too bad, considering it's the only one on Ebay and there aren't any on Amazon. I guess its the only option.
  4. I've read through the rule book a few times and I'm kind of confused about how the ranges for weapons work. For example, on page 33 it says that a Holdout Blaster is a short range weapon, a Blaster Pistol is a medium range weapon and a Blaster Rifle is a long rage weapon. Does this mean that this is the only range that these weapons can fire in? Is it impossible to fire a Holdout Blaster at long range or a Blaster Rifle at short range? The way I'm reading the rules is that firing a Blaster Rifle, which can only be fired at long range, will always be "Hard" difficulty. A Holdout Blaster, which can only be fired at short rage, will always be "Easy" difficulty. This seems too simple and doesn't really make sense to me. What am I missing?
  5. Has anyone noticed that you don't need a Talisman when using the Dragon Tower side of the new expansion. Thats kind of disappointing....isn't that the point of the whole game?

I was wondering if in the first story, can the Silver Key be used to open the Magical Lock? Or does the Magical Lock only open when the Magical Phrase is used? Key Items only open Lock cards with their pictures on em. Thank you so much. That makes much more sense now. That probably would have ruined our first game not knowing that.

I'd love to find a copy, but they are all sold out. None on E-Bay either. I'm wondering if they'll make any more copies.
  9. Im not trying to demand a change or complain about the game. But they've had many opportunities to throw in some variety. The Amazon, Gladiator, Magnus, Conjurer, Rogue and a few others would have been cool in different races. I guess you could always paint them how you like.
  10. I was reading a previous post about the number of female characters in Talisman, which I think is great. We've had several girlfriends play and they are always happy to use one of the female characters. Then I started to wonder why there is very little diversity in the ethnicity of the characters...so I started to break it all down: Sage: White Knight: White Merchant: White Amazon: White Highlander: White Vampiress:..Very White Elf: White Rogue: Possibly Hispanic...possibly White Minstrel: White Ghoul: Green Prophetess: White Valkyrie: White Gladiator: White Philosopher: White Alchemist: White Troll: Green Warrior: White Leprechaun: White Monk: White Sorceress: White Ogre Cheiftain: Yellowish Brown Wizard: White Gypsy: White Thief: White....(that would have been a really bad idea to make him the only Black or Hispanic character) Necromancer: White Swashbuckler: White Assassin: White Dark Cultist: White Sprite: White Dwarf: White Druid: White Priest: White Dread Knight: Unknown Cleric: White Magnus: White Chivalric Knight: White Dragon Hunter: White Dragon Priestess: White Minotaur: Umm...Hairy? Conjurer: Possibly Black...possibly White Fire Wizard: White Dragon Rider: White There are currently 42 characters. Green: 2 Yellowish Brown: 1 Unknown: 3 White: 35 Hairy: 1

This is a great question. I've always wondered what happens when cards end up on spaces like the Temple, Tavern, City...etc. Do you have to encounter the cards in order to get to the space below it? Do you encounter the cards, but not the space below it? Do you have a choice?
  12. If you land on a space asking you to draw 3 cards and you choose to use this ability, do you draw 2 cards and move a card over from the other space. Or does this ability completely replace your ability to draw cards?
  13. I don't think I'm going to be a big fan of the Fire Wizard. I don't really care to have the ability to kill things without being able to take them as a trophy. I guess it's ok if you are really outmatched, I'm not really into avoiding things. My group usually avoids playing the assassin. I disagree about the Dragon Rider being useful only when playing the Dragon Expansion. There are quite a few dragons in the decks if you have all of the expansions. I think that he'll be pretty powerful. I love the ability of the Conjurer...I can't tell you how many times I've spent turn after turn trying to land on a particular card....and what about those cards buried under a craft of 10. The ability will be very useful. I definitely think there will be a house rule in effect for the minotaur with a riding horse...thats just crazy.
  14. Is it on sale at Gen Con!?!?!? I live about 1 and 1/2 hours away....I'd drive there tomorrow!
