I am a member on BGG, however I rarely go there because their site feels old-hat and horrible to navigate.  It’s over cluttered with too much superfluous junk trying to get your attention.
It really feels like FFG is on life-support.  I wish Asmodee would just pull the plug and get it over and done with.
Edit: Also, the Arkham Files and LotR forums here are probably the nicest and least toxic communities online.  It’s a real shame to see it all deleted.

If nothing is announced during Arkham Nights this week, then my belief is the game line has ended.

I picked up the Lord of the Rings card game on May 2 of last year. And I'm not kidding when I say it changed my life. I have now collected roughly half of the expansions, and considered myself fairly experienced. But there are a few observations that I would like to make about the world of Middle-Earth.
Apparently, courage is actually expected. In almost every hero.
Apparently, orcs are dumb. Like, extremely dumb. This game has been out for at least a decade, and THEY STILL DON'T SEE SNEAK ATTACKS COMING. I mean come on, you would think they would learn! Yes, young orcses, there WILL be a hobbit coming from behind you out of that tree. NO, NOT THAT ONE! THAT ONE!
Enemies also fall for feints in combat. Every time.
Apparently, Gandalf is more powerful than Eru Iluvatar. I mean, I don't know exactly how many people play LOTR LCG every day, but Gandalf apparently has the ability of omnipresence. He appears in every part of Middle-Earth, every day, from the ruins of Númenor to Rhún. That man (Istari, for the nerds) has GOT to be tired. Do you guys not realize why he leaves at the end of the round?! He needs a nap! And if you don't let him leave, you are 2 points more susceptible to the threat of the Dark Lord because he's trying to fall asleep on your shoulders.
I don't know what the players at large have against that poor orc, but seriously, y'all (sorry, I'm from Oklahoma) need to give Will a break. Everyone seems to find the greatest delight in testing him. He just wants to live his life. He worked hard to graduate high school. He doesn't need any more tests!
That's all for now. My main point is that you guys need to take more thought, and be nicer to the peoples of Middle-Earth. A person is a person no matter how small, or ugly, or tall. Take thought for the needs of everyone, and together we can make Middle-Earth great again. Keep your nose out of trouble, and no trouble will come to you!

My guess is it's referring to AH2e which became very bloated & the card pools became more diluted with each expansion.

Could be half-way journeys on middle earth and mansions of madness, using big tiles to move through Hawkins and its surroundings and then detailed tiles for interiors (mall, lab, hawker's cabin, the arcade...) 
And think about it, the characters are very similar to any D&D party (eleven is the wizard, Lucas the elf, Dustin the dwarf, Steve and Jonathan the fighters or paladins, Max is the bard, Erica the rogue halfling... 
So it would not be difficult to create a dungeon crawler... 

I'd certainly buy that.  My daughter & I both love MoM & ST.

I'd report the game store to FFG.
Here in Australia, you can go to Fair Trading or the ACCC to report places that refuse refunds for faulty goods.  We have reasonable consumer rights here.

So having just recently gotten into the game and trying to amass a fleet with ships all the way up to wave 3.5 available, I had a thought.  Would FFG ever release card packs for the various mods, EPT, etc?  They could be split into the Wave 1 EPT. Wave 1 mod, Wave 2 EPT, Wave 2 mod, etc.  Obviously the pilots wouldn't be of much use without the ships.  It would allow a new player like me who is trying to catch up to everyone the ability to legally play the cards without buying ships I have no intention of flying at the moment.  Yes, I'd like to fly a Lambda at some point, but I'm still working on tie formations and interceptors.  I think they could price them to be competitive with the current model/card format.  Also the production cost for card only packs would be very low in comparison of the current model/card format.  And perhaps it's limited to past expansions.  So when wave 5 comes out, the card packs for wave 4 are released.  I'm all for a great company making a great product to make as much money as they can.  And I really do feel like there is tremendous value in what the core and each expansion offers. I'll eventually buy an A-wing to give it a whirl, but don't want to buy 4 for PTLs. Thoughts?

It's been very quiet on the expansion front.  Considering Arkham Horror is one of the "flagship" products for FFG, I'm amazed nothing has been announced yet...
