  1. Eventually, you probably have several units of multiple types. Maybe 3 stormtrooper and 3 snowtrooper and later 3 of something else, so swapping becomes necessary as more units become available. The diameter variance is less than .25mm.
  2. Among several design prototypes I have lined up, I finished my Star Wars Legion unit base indicator mod. It allows you to add magnetic, swap-able, colored discs to your trooper units so you can differentiate between like units without using tokens in the play area. You can check them out at https://www.etsy.com/listing/596532394/star-wars-legion-unit-indicator-base?ref=listings_manager_grid.
  3. This is a custom 3/16" black foam board storage solution I created this weekend in about 90 minutes. There is a little extra room for expansion content when released. I have plans to create several of these for other FFG titles over the next few months. Tell me what you think.
  4. Several of the expansions are scheduled for a reprint after the 2nd edition release. I would image they would be reprinted with 2nd edition rules updates, etc.
  5. Gears of War has some interesting tactical options. One of which is a primary option, cover. The locusts can have it and so can you. The map tiles have more cover options the more difficult the mission rating is. For instance, the 6 phase "The Horde" mission sets you up against 6 waves of locusts. On the casual setting there are more tiles in the mission and easier to set up ambushes. On nightmare (I think it's called that) there are only 3 tiles and a ridiculous open area with cover options everywhere making it impossible to stay in any one area for too long. The replay options opened up by challenge ratings are an excellent feature. Learn the mission on casual and work up to the hardest setting. You can also chain some of the smaller missions to represent actual console game situations. Warning: If you play The Hive with 4 players on anything but normal you will likely die unless you know all the angles of the game and how to react accordingly to each enemy type. Oh, and luck is helpful too.
  6. I'm not sure what you mean. There are several ticketed events for new games yet to be released including: Elder Sign, Gears of War, and Rune Age. Each one will be run by a staff member as stated in the details of each event. I purchased tickets for all three.
  7. I have yet to try one of the LCG's. I want to try Warhammer, but I love the idea of a game two people can enjoy and not have to battle one another, similar to Shadows Over Camelot board game. I live 30 minutes away from downtown Indianapolis, so I can't wait to check it out tomorrow.
