Although not Descent, it is still Terrinoth.  So it exists in some fashion in Terrinoth.

They reduce the amount of pieces, cards, etc. getting dented or broken when shifting around during shipping. If you have a box big enough for a decent game board, smaller components (sealed deck of cards, minis, bag of dice) would slide and fall a much further distance causing more damage to each other in a box that big. By using the inserts, you can keep the pieces separated and reduce the amount of travel they have, reducing the range of shifting to their smaller sections. 

I started playing HoT and I really enjoy the mechanics of the game. Streamlined rules.
I hope we will see an Expansion one day and a campaign mode.

HoT is such a great game, highly underrated, and built for expansions. I wish they believed in this game more. 
Personally I love the dice aspect, but I like it enough that I would most likely go for a LCG version of HoT. But, it seems Asmodee wants to develop other people's IPs rather than developing their own.

It’s a bonus feature. You can utilize the “extra trooper” minis you have in your core set and/or expansions to build a new unit. Now, you have the card and cardboard so you can field them.
If I have 4x phase 1 clone units and don’t use the “extra mini” personnel card, I can turn around and toss them into a new unit with this card + the mini with LEADER keyword. 

If you don't think white/male privilege is a thing, or that companies are "pandering" by including women or people of color in their products, maybe stop and consider what the world would look like if you were born something other than white or male.
As a thought exercise, imagine the races/genders of every character you love is flipped. All men are now women, all white characters are now non-white. Do you still feel represented? This is what life has been like for everyone who isn't a white man.
I'm not saying white men are bad, I'm just saying we've been pandered to for SO long and SO much, that anything that moves the scales SLIGHTLY toward equal representation feels like persecution to some of us.
It's not pandering to let other people feel seen the way you have been your entire life.
I'm not going to keep preaching, but I wanted to say something because I feel like these attitudes of racial or sexual superiority have been getting louder in geek culture, and I wouldn't feel right ignoring it.
I'm looking forward to this game, and I hope we can foster a welcoming and supportive community for everyone that is willing to be welcoming and supportive.

I think the sequels are better than the prequels in pretty much every way. Order on, dude.

Well, if they don’t support Realms of Terrinoth with products like a Beginner Game, more source books, adventures, etc., I may have to pass on it.  It all exists for the Star Wars line, so why not here?
I was hoping they would finally explore their own setting now that the licensing for Warhammer has left.  From what I have researched I think I would like the Genesys system well enough.  I don’t have the time for a scratch build or heavy conversion of other products into this world.
Maybe once the big push for L5R is done they will devote more resources to Terrinoth.

Tried some of your weathering tips and I think it looks much less factory new.
I wasn’t quite brave enough to try weathering the windows, but your rust effect is quite easy to do.
