  1. You don't have to be ashemed about anything. I'm the one who in some freaking way got that mess started.

Tried to post comment from my "smart" phone and thats what it did to the post. Have started only to read the post when using that abominal thing. Also send message to moderators if they could do anything about it but no word from them.

Q: If someone wants stats for Obliterator check DW: The Emperor Protects p. 139

There are no stats in Mark of Xenos then I assume? :(

Stand corrected. Although own Mark of Xenos forgot that it has those also on p. 120

Thanks for the jogging my memory Gurkhal

  3. Few examples of non-marines who have contracted Obliterator virus and survived

Storm of Iron: Techpriest is contracted with Obliterator virus and survives but is more like automaton following orders.

Dark Apostle book series: Tech Magos is contracted with Obliterator virus and slowly becomes amalgam of human-daemon-machine still keeping his "normal" mental capacity and lets say he gets "broader" view of the world thanks to this.

In both cases propably the thing that both were techpriest and heavily augmented helped them to survive the process of virus mutating them but could also happen to normal person. Nothing rules it over. Although it might be little unnerving to others that the guy contracted by this leans on the wall and starts to absorb the needed metal compounds from the wall to make sure his body have necessary material for weapons.

Still would propably make anyone contracted by this to have his personal weapons only available to his from morphing and would have to absord new weapons to get the necessary "blueprints" of said weapon.

If someone wants stats for Obliterator check DW: The Emperor Protects p. 139

Someone posted saying they were prompted to download membership software of some kind by my blog. That shouldn't be happening. Has anyone else experienced this?

On a somewhat related note: What the heck happened to the last thread? Something weird.

Erm dont now what the heck happened but tried post reply from my phone and that happened. Used Opera web-browser. Dont know how it managed to do that though.

Have made mental note never to use that again. Everything else seems to work fine but FFG forums dont like it.

Haven't had any problems downloading your paper minis from your blog though

There seems to be some kind of bug in Talents sheet. It shows that "Moving or deleting of cells has caused cell dysfuntion that does not compute or something like that" Dont know for certain as im trying to translate it and google translator give gipperish.

Also seems like Rank 1 Astropath Psychic Techniques are busted, should be able to choose technique alteast costing 200xp and they also eat starting XP where thay should be free.

Thanks for all the recent feedback, I should get some time this week to address the issues.

Can someone point me at the rules for Naduesh Force weapons?

Naduesh Foirce weapons can be found in Into the Storm p.126. On p.127 there is rules how it works for non-psykers and how psy rating affects weapons damage and penetration.

  7. Don't know if it's hard to implement in the sheet but notices that when you select psychic technique in the sheet it takes the 200xp when in the Errata it says

“Either through training or natural development, the Explorer has learned an additional Psychic Technique. Once this Talent has been selected, the Explorer must select one new Psychic Technique in any Discipline he possesses that possesses an xp cost equal to or lower than the xp cost of the Talent. Then, the Explorer spends xp equal to the cost of the Technique selected (if the Explorer cannot spend this xp for any reason, he may not select this Talent). Note: this Talent is unique in that the Explorer will not spend the xp cost listed in the Advance Tables of his Career in order to purchase it, but the xp cost of the Technique itself. The xp cost listed in the Advance Tables is provides solely to determine which Psychic Techniques may be selected via that particular Talent.

So selecting, for example, Short Range Telepathy it should only deduct 100xp not the 200xp.

I don't remember very well but you should use stripped down ships, I.e. Void shileds, batterie, basic crew rating, shiled and armor value.

Remembered that there was something like this so after some searching found in Frozen Reaches stats for space station.

Like crisaron said, use ship statistics but drop off Speed, Manouverability, Space and Power. And name some essential components to denote specific nature of this installation. example plasma drive to station generatorium.

Upgrade hull integrity, armour, turret ratings and stuff as you like to corresponde the size of installation.

I think "in universe," the term "Rogue Trader" is a bit like the term "politician." Both terms describe a specific type of role with a defined meaning, but very few politicians or rogue traders would choose to define themselves in these terms; though they'd grudgingly have to admit that this is what they are.

"I'm Barack Obama, President of the United States of America."

    "So you're a politican?"

[grits teeth] "Well yes, I guess I am."

    and in the same way,

"I'm Jabez Caul, Lord Captain of the Scramasax, bearer of a Warrant of Trade bearing the seal of the High Lords of Terra and Lord Commander of His Imperial Majesty's tithed colony world Brimstone."

    "So you're a Rogue Trader?"

[grits teeth] "Well yes, I guess I am."

Both titles (rogue trader and politician) have pejorative connotations, so no doubt the bearers prefer other terms. But on the whole, I'd say that yes, they are, by and large, called Rogue Traders behind their backs...by non-Rogue Traders, anyway. That's certainly the case in the Matt Farrer and Danm Abnett books, anyway.

Couple weeks ago the party psyker rolls a 9 on one of his powers.   He rolls the percentiles and rolls a 1.  While I am digging out the charts the party artbit says, "Oh, with it being that low the result is going to be something like a demon farts in the distance.....'

Pull the chart out and a roll of 1 is:

1–3 Dark Foreboding: A very faint breeze blows past the Psyker and those near him, and everyone gets the eerie
feeling that something unfortunate has just happened somewhere in the galaxy.

    Much laughter followed.

Was just checking Psychic Phenomena Table and I Psyker would have rolled 6-8 Your group would have propably burst lung.

6-8 Unholy Stench: the air around Psyker becomes permeated with Bizarre and Foul smell

  11. Had some trouble with weapon upgrade yesterday. Had chosen Compact from Shop Screen and in Equipment screen just Showed #Value in Upgrade menu. Could circumvent this by typing the name Compact in there but still If you could check this.

Also couldn't choose for Grey Knight the Feared by the Warp Talent although I had Focus of the Justicar talent. Also Strike Squad Grey Knight didn't have Talented [Pilot] in 8 rank advancement. Grey Knight Psychic Training 2 rank, Psychic Power: Nemesis Hammerhand seems to have Psy Rating 3 Prerequisition in your sheet and in Daemon Hunter Book have no Prerequisition.

Also Purgation Squad Grey Knight Purgative Masters lowering effect to heavy weapons doesn't seem to work.

Keep up the Good Work Memetix aplauso.gif

  12. One gamenight long ago we were playing Exalted. Other guy was GM.

There was tough battle ensuing at the moment and one player got hungry and decided to make sandwich. When he was putting butter back to fridge he dropped the butter to the floor from where it "exploded" (for finding any better explanation is hard) on GM's feets. Everyone just stared some time until I just said:

"Well thats one way to grease GM"

Took sometime until we could continue playing.

  13. Nice update to the program to include Ship Components that modify the Warp Jump. Now if I could ask little bit "Autonav For Dummies" help serio.gif

    Just quick questions:

    1. Base duration is the travel time GM decides for the Trip, Yes/No

    2. Time Parity, How time in the Warp translates to Real Space Time, Yes/No

Might be simple but my mind seems to go loop-the-loop at the moment babeo.gif

Routa - I'll ensure the Astartes shop items are available to Grey Knights

As per the rules, xp spent on backgrounds doesn't count towards your rank increases so what you are seeing is what I'd expect.
I know there are some people who interpret the rules differently to me however. preocupado.gif

OK. Was talking about some houserule options with my friend just now and I understand your point.

It's all in the Eye of Beholder

  15. Grey Knights - Cant select Astartes specific weapons

Seems like when you select backgrounds that use XP this is substracted from 5000 starting XP.

Example Voidborn - Unnatural Origins: Tainted by the Warp - Tainted - Darkness: Warp Incursion - Pride

After these selections my spent XP is 4700 not 5000 as it should be.
