  1. "Always remember to chew your food properly and have handy mallet to pound said dish to submission."
  2. I don't think Ork Regeneration is that powerful that there is possibility of old D&D scenario. "Cannibal Dwarf ate hand of a troll. About week later he died when the troll hand, he had eaten, carved it's way out through his chest." Well he was NPC, but quite powerfull NPC, so no fudging dices with him. It was quite grotesque
  3. Santiago has made & posted, IMHO, a nice rules for Genestealers, Hybrids & Cult in this forum post
  4. No. Here's direct quote from the OW CRB p.245 "When Evading Swift Attacks, Lightning Attacks, Full Auto Bursts, Semi-Auto Bursts, or any weapon with the Twin-Linked Quality, each Degree of Success on the Dodge Test negates one additional hit. When Evading weapons with the Storm Quality, each Degree of Success on the Dodge Test negates two hits." So let's say you're hit 5 times by Full Auto Burst and try to dodge it. You get 1 DoS so you would be hit by only 4 shots
  5. Why? It' doesn't even have any interaction skills so why would it need fellowship. Remember Daemonette is Lesser Daemon of Slaanes. Keeper of Secrets, now there's a Daemon to fear with its silver tongue.
  6. You could just play it that Chimera had only minimal fuel left to get them to certain point. After that it's players ingenuity that will keep them going towards their target. By quick checking, modern tracked IFVs seem to have operational range of 300-660km. Wheeled IFVs can go up to 900km. But I think this is when they drive on the road or similar flat surface.
  7. It means that when your character chooses this skill he either uses Weapon or Ballistic skill and Finesse to determine it's cost. Melee - Weapon Skill and Finesse Ranged - Ballistic Skill and Finesse
  8. I will yoink these to my OW game and shall make science to them Have you though estimates about how big area (in square meters/kilometers) these bad boys take after deployment? Looking at lvl 3. with it's airfield, workshop and accommodation size, it's friggin huge. PS. Black Cells are, I take, meant to keep those captured psykers behind lock and key
  9. Parry is good choice but Dodge is a must skill as you can't parry missiles or area effects Also Side Step talent is good choice as it gives you second reaction. Although you only can Dodge or Parry attack once.
  10. I have used that players must find the specific grimoire for Rituals. Might have given them leeway for summoning lesser & bestial daemons.
  11. Number next for example Flyer (20) tells how fast it moves. So, for my knowledge, Gargoyle would move, when flying, 20/40/60/120.
  12. I mostly skimmed the Contact/Resource rules but after this story I'm definitely going to give those a good read and introduce some new 'helpful' characters.Pretend there's an evil grin emoticon here. I think your Avatar is sufficient enough
  13. Can you please post the email from Huckelbery. I would like to see it myself. Not that I wouldn't believe you but like the saying goes "Seeing is believing"
  14. I think stuff like size, lighting and etc affect Psychic bolt/barrage/storm as they are not specifically tied to BS but are conditional effects. Hehe, came into mind old "I throw magic missile into the darkness"
  15. Its the Flame weapon quality DW Corebook p.142 where you find this little bit of information. "The wielder does not need to Test Ballistic Skill; he simply fires. The flame's path is a cone-shaped area extending in a 30 degree arc from the firer out to the weapon's Range. Any creatures caught in it must succeed on an Agility Test or be struck by the flames and take damage normally. If they take damage, they must succeed on a second Agility Test or catch on fire." Additionally "When a wielder who does not possess the appropriate Weapon Training Talent fires a weapon with the Flame Quality, anyone in the area of effect gains a +20 bonus to his Agility Test to avoid damage. This bonus rises to +30 if the weapon is heavy and the wielder is not braced."
  16. Yes, your BS 01 Cleric/Missionary/Priest (in DH, RT & OW) can run around with his lovechild (read Flamer) and burn all the heretics he want's. Have to wait till I get home to my books to check this thing with UN and Opposed Tests.
  17. 1) If I remember correctly Unnatural Characteristics also worked some how in Opposed Tests, just don't remember how. (Books are home) 2) As it works like Heavy Flamer you don't have to make BS roll to see if you hit. Target makes Agility test to see if his hit and if he's hit other Agility test to see if he's set on fire.
  18. Yeah +/-60 is still the maximum modifier in BC. although only places I could find information about that is Summoning Ritual Modifiers and such. Well I'm sure it's there, some where, under all that clutter.
  19. Yeah, you happened to check Precognitive Dodge.
  20. What Little ol Shadowseer pushing his PR 8 to PR 11 (I think they are counted Bound, so max is +3). Can maximum manifest 11 bolts, each doing 1d10+33. I think overkill is the word you are looking for. Lucky that you can at least trie to Dodge those
  21. Not sure if you are commenting something what I said Darth Smeg. I was only pointing about adding SB to Mechadendrite attack's, nothing about it's possible defensive use.
  22. Darth Smeg, you forgot this. Question: Does a character add his Strength Bonus to Damage with mechadendrites (such as the manipulator mechadendrite, medicae mechadendrite, and utility mechadendrites found on pages 207–209 of the Only War Core Rulebook) he uses to make Melee Attacks? Answer: Yes. Mechadendrites that can be used as melee weapons are treated as such in all respects.
  23. Don't feed or mind the Troll. Maybe it goes away. Have to say I agree with Kshatriya & Maelora. Diversity is good, Uniformity is bad. At least in my oppinion but thats just me.
