Yes, you have to bee proficient with the weapon or else you get the -20 to WS/BS test to use it. Well shooting as a free action it has it's perks I grant you that. What is your Characters Specialty? Are you the other Medic, you were talking in your post?

Triplex lasguns don't even have Felling. Yes it has when used in incineration mode. Range drops to 50m, and gains Proven (5) and Felling (4)

And here I was wondering why Progena craduates (Commissars, Storm Troopers, Sisters of Battle, etc etc) are so caring and cheerfull persons. They have been given the loving teaching of the Imperial's "Greatest" minds

Achilus Assault contain around 5 pages of information about Mortis Thule plus one page about specialiced drone, Erioch-pattern Fire Wasp, used to explore Hulks.

A wrought for purpose weapon that has never been used? "Legacy of Slaughter: Weapon has never drawn blood - Gives -30 to modifiers"

When you are in the IG you get Rest & Relaxation but only on that planet where you are posted. So no visiting other planets and you are only "allowed" to visit places that have been "acknowledged" by Departmento Munitorium. But there are always ways to visit some rougher places if you know where to look. But you are not allowed to be intoxicated, gotten into a fight or other things that can be seen as unmilitaristic. You might get flogged in good day, executed on a bad day.

Well I have moved all Actions from OW to DW and it didn't brake. Also Traits are modded to use OW (Unnatural giving +4 gives more manageable bonus than x2 or x3) So for example when making Lightning Attack your WS bonus is maximum number of attacks you make (per melee weapon) so Dual-wielding you make double that in possible hits. So WS 50 guy can get max 5 hits per melee weapon, so total for dual wielder would be 10. Dodging all those is quite a feat, so you would have to roll 10 DoS in Dodge/parry for not gettin hit. Also for Overwatch, you don't interrup other characters turn but you both take action at the same turn. From Overwatch action description "If this attack occurs at the same time as another character’s Action, the character with the higher Agility acts first. If both characters have the same Agility, they make an Opposed Agility Test to see who acts first." It's good to have your players stats handy as you can make some dice rolls for them and then say "Sorry you didn't notice anything" or in case someone has paranoid talent "You feel your neck hairs raising as you notice something is foul" And I use software to make dice rolls so I can show my players how I rolled for them after declaring they are suprised so no one can say I have cheated. Not that they are demanding it as they know I don't fudge or cheat on rolls.

Well I know some players that insist that they can use Parry to swat aside bullets and stuff. Too much Star Wars and D&D.
-
Well basically Parry and Dodge are are similar to each other when used against multiple attacks. So each DoS, when you Dodge/Parry, reduces one additional hit when used against Swift, Lightning, Semi-auto, Full Auto and Twin-linked. When used against weapon with Storm quality it negates 2 additional fit per DoS. Just remember that Degrees of Success are counted little bit differendly in DW and OW. In DW you get basic success and then start to count how many additional DoS you get over it, as in OW you start to count from 1 DoS and then add other DoS you gain. PS. I know this might be pointless but remember, "You can only Dodge ranged attacks, but can use either Dodge or Parry when in Melee combat." PPS. Also someone was thinking how Overwatch works in OW. If it's your turn and you walk to area, being under Overwatch, you cant Dodge that attack as you can only use Dodge/Parry when it isn't your own turn.

Just read, to shock my memories correct, Dual-Wielding rules in DW and in my mind by RAW you can only Parry one attack per Round. And as Multiple Attacks are separate rolls you could only Parry one attack out of possible maximum off 4 attacks (Swift attack grants 2 attacks to your main hand and Lightning Attack 3 attacks to main hand. You can only make 1 off-hand attack) Seems stupid as you can Dodge multiple attacks from automatic fire weapons but not multiple hits from melee attack. As user of OW rules I have ported them to DW also so that removed much of the headache these rules had when we started playing DW. Remember when we started playing DW and our Assault marine used Parry and GM said "Ok, you just Parried first attack but 2 following attacks from Hormagaunt hits you." We all (Players and GM) were like this after checking rules then:

Dealing with stupid high toughness from a space marine PC
Routa-maa replied to AnthonyVahle's topic in Only War
CSM in Enemies of the Imperium have Unnatural Strength and Toughness (+4). So DW marines would propably have the same. -
I think it means B) Low-tech Melee weapons. Though it might be possible to add mono upgrade for arrows. @ the Inquisitor Remember that it has been stated that Mono can be applied to blunt weapons and it's usually described as some kind of pneumatic actuator that activates on hit increasing its strength.

My Rogue Trader wants a Harem....
Routa-maa replied to lord inquisitor Iannise's topic in Rogue Trader Gamemasters
1. Raid a planet to gain slaves 2. Find A Dark Eldar Cabal interested to trade 3. Survive to gain audience of Cabal Leader 4. ????? 5. Profit -
Did he use Aim, and if he did how many DoS did he get. Remember Accurate gives you 1d10 extra damage per 2 DoS, for max 2d10 extra damage. Otherwise your math seems correct to me. But don't take it for granted, just woke up and getting ready for work.

What's the point of Unarmed Master
Routa-maa replied to Darck Child's topic in Only War Rules Questions
Yes. With Unarmed Master you count as having Deadly Natural Weapons trait that removes Primitive (7) special quality from your unarmed attacks. -
Would you allow Blind Fighting in unarmed Combat?
Routa-maa replied to Darck Child's topic in Only War Rules Questions
Melee combat can include fist fights. So it would be possible to make unarmed attacks using Blind Fighting talent. -
Would you allow Combat Master for an unarmed attack?
Routa-maa replied to Darck Child's topic in Only War Rules Questions
Terminology mistake seems to have happened here. It's not just hand-to-hand combat ie unarmed combat, where you can use this but in melee combat ie swords, knifes, unarmed etc. So you wouldn't need to have Unarmed Warrior talent before choosing this. -
Well it is the Interwebs bad thing that you can find anything and almost everthing from it that has or has not anything to do with actual fluff/canon. "cough" Like Female Rubricae Marines "cough" There is this picture. And then there are these pictures. I almost spilled my morning cereals when this popped into my screen and I'm pretty sure there is special place for people who make these in Equestria. "I'm starting to think that I should propably burn my laptop"

A response to the new (old) skills
Routa-maa replied to Soloman's topic in Dark Heresy Second Edition Beta
Well in that your correct, but I was more answering the thing about using different Characteristic with some Skills. Off-topic: the aggregation of skills in Pathfinder was one of the selling point to me when Paizo published it. With many other things of course. -
I think this has a lot to do with writer of the Codex. Matt Ward and his more than bad (awful, horrible, sick, etc etc) skill of writing fluff. Here's just few examples: Grey Knights making body paint from Sisters of Battle so they could be extra "warded" against Corruption Blood Angels and Necrons fighting each other, but joining forces when attacked by Tyranids and after the won battle fist bumb and go separate ways. Making deal with Xzibit to make power armour in power armour (ie Centurion and Dreadknight.) Raising Ultrasmurfs (ie Ultramarines) over every other Space Marine Chapter This list could go on and on.

A response to the new (old) skills
Routa-maa replied to Soloman's topic in Dark Heresy Second Edition Beta
This isn't even new to DH 2nd beta 1.0, I want to point that you have missed this in Corerulebooks. DH, RT, DW, BC & OW has had this little box hidden somewhere in its pages where this has been written. So they aren't per se saying that you just house rule it. It has been there as an optional rule. So if someone wants me to point on what pages this is, First I have to get home from work and then go through my books. -
Look, if we start giving out CPs every time someone does something that slaneesh likes these games would become very very short. Not to mention Khorne or Tzeentch. Khorne = Kill someone, even in sefldefense. Tzeentch = use subterfuge to gain information about coven of Chaos, Xenos etc etc I can hear those Corruption points dropping like lead weight on the floor. But back to the original post and question. Like someone has pointed out already, I think Orks are a go. Although I think it doesn't taste like Chicken. And if you can stomach it.

Also don't forget the Power of the Plot. Powerfull weapon it its.

I have Windows 7 and it works just fine with it. So something wrong with your computer or this software. Hard to tell.
