  1. I found the 40kradio thing yesterday looking at the Battle Foam site. http://www.40kradio.com/
  2. I'd possibly play an online game via OpenRPG depending on my busy schedule. I run a Rogue Trader game on OpenRPG. http://www.rpgobjects.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=316&p=7922#p7922
  3. I concur that if you can mount the weapons in DH/RT then DW shouldn't be different.
  4. Brother Praetus said: Game I am gonna be in I will be playing an Iron Priest, and we will be having a Rune Priest as well; and that's it for Space Wolves. So, me being the one up on the fluff for the Wolves have noted that mine and the other Wolf are likely to be the only characters with "hexagrammatic wards" on our armor eventually... Seeing as Runic Armor is warded Artificer armor, and it takes both Iron and Rune Priests working in conjunction to manufacture it. Something else to remember, Rune Priests technically don't wield standard Force Weapons. Their Rune Weapons pull double duty basically as a Force Weapon AND a Psychic Hood. Anyway, that's slightly divergent from the topic, but seemed something to point out. Carry on. -=Brother Praetus=- I'm interested as well.
  5. There are daemons listed in Dark Heresy. DH - Creatures Anathema , Slaanesh demon and a couple others. Dark Heresy - Ascension : Herald of Korne, Lord of Change writeups
  6. I'd like to see FFG come to Dragon*Con. http://www.dragoncon.org
  7. I've got 3 openings at the moment, Astropath, Voidmaster and Missionary for anyone interested.
  8. I run and play 40K and other RPGs via OpenRPG when I can find folks locally or get them to commit. Look me up, my Rogue Trader game has openings. http://www.openrpg.com
  9. Tidomann said: The problem with 7pm east is that some of our players are GMT, and in Germany. This is going to range around 8:00pm and 01:00am for playtimes for them @_@ I have folks in Europe and Japan play in my games all the time, but the time differences are pretty rough, just how it goes. If they're serious and can make it work they play, if not then find a more GMT friendly game. I am a full time graduate student, family man and am working on finding work being unemployed for 7 months so I can either do evening games or I could possibly swing a Sat afternoon game from time to time, but evenings are more likely to be ongoing (weekly or biweekly) basis. I run a Rogue Trader game with some folks who play from England. It has several openings at this point and I am introducing a Deathwatch npc at the moment. So it might do some crossover in the future.
  10. Greetings fellow Rogue Trader gamers, My ongoing Rogue Trader game has some openings if anyone would like to join in. It's played on OpenRPG on Thursday evenings 8-11 pm EST. http://www.rpgobjects.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=316&start=150 I'm also possibly starting up a crossover game involving Deathwatch/DH and or RT in the future too if interested drop a line.
  11. Ah, I'm at my university right now working on school work etc. I could certainly game on the weekends after 7 pm EST. I would even be willing to GM if you need a GM. I have Skype on my home desktop and got OpenRPG on it too (I do all my gaming on it primarily). So perhaps we could talk via email or here. My skype name is landothearchmagi.

Or email me at tidomann (at) gmail.com I have classes on Mon/Weds so alas I can not attend at 3 pm est. Also that's hard for folks working day shifts or looking for day shift work (like me). I can meet after 7 pm EST most weeknights except Mon/Wed.
  13. I'm open to GMing or playing a Deathwatch via OpenRPG. For anyone interested, I do have a Rogue Trader game with openings. http://www.rpgobjects.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=316&start=150 You can reach me here, on the OpenRPG forums or via email (landothearchmagi at comcast.net, replace at with @, no spaces)
  14. Thanks, alas, I'll be headed to class so I can't meetup tonight, but perhaps I'll find a game on my schedule.
  15. ferzberk said: For what it's worth, I run an online DW game using Skype. I usually GM, but I'm able to be a player as well. For those of us not on European timezones, I could take a few more players. I often use Vassal40k to handle the table-top aspect of things (I can provide download links). Let me know if anyone is interested. Depending on when you play I might be interested, never heard of Vassal40k. Drop me some info if you could.
  16. nkdotzip said: I am currently running a 6 player game online via open rpg, once this chapter of the campaign is over, if any players drop, I wouldn't mind picking up one or two. When do you run your game? I run a Rogue Trader game on Thursday nights on OpenRPG and lately have had a few players not be reliable or out (so I got an opening or two).
  17. Well if you use OpenRPG let me know, but otherwise good luck to you.
  18. I run games via OpenRPG and am currently running Rogue Trader on Thursday nights and might do a Deathwatch game in the near future. http://www.openrpg.com I'd be interested in playing as well.
  19. I will play online or in person. I got Dark Heresy and Rogue Trader. Location: Marietta, GA Email: landothearchmagi@comcast.net or master_lando@yahoo.com
  20. I am not entirely new to 40K, but I'm getting deeper into RTand picked up the Eisenhorn omnibus today as well as ordered my copy of RT. Begun reading the Inquisiton War books that I found in a used bookstore. Speaking of sentient swords, just look at the Eternal Champion series by Michael Moorcock, in particular Elric of Melnibone. His sword Stormbringer, hummed and moaned and was basically a demon/chaos/god transformed into a sword. Stormbringer could act on its own, but Elric fed off its energies to sustain his albino and ravaged body.
  21. I do a lot of play by post and online live chat gaming myself. I am considering running a DH/RT type game in the near future via OpenRPG. http://www.openrpg.com I play and run games via OpenRPG quite a bit and have had much fun doing so.
  22. Or us males who like to roleplay female pcs from time to time. I've played some DH and noticed the lack of female miniatures for the 40K line and now am looking at Rogue Trader and I totally agree. I grabbed most of the links posted here so I'll be shopping around and will look at that Freebooter line too probably.
