  1. Tomorrow is the 75th anniversary of the first printing of "The Hobbit." I posted an article on my blog about how some people are celebrating second breakfast as an event, my gaming plans for the day, and some musings on "The Hobbit" itself. http://deepdarkdungeons.blogspot.com/2012/09/i-dont-think-he-knows-about-second.html Enjoy!
  2. Sorry for the double post, but the last one came out all messed up. If a moderator or someone could delete it I would appreciate it. I did a Target run yesterday and picked up my first Core set. I did an unboxing on my blog: http://deepdarkdungeons.blogspot.com/2012/09/star-wars-x-wing-episode-i-unboxing.html Enjoy!

  4. The rulebook lists one pack of grey and one pack of yellow sleeves from FFG. I believe that is American standard and mini sizes.

    Play mats?

tiepilot1138 said: Right, that was supposed to be feet. Anyone know what the MondayKnight mats are made out of? Felt, if the space ones are anything like the green one I have. They last, since mine is about 8 years old.

    Play mats?

All great ideas. I think I'd still like to see something X-Wing branded though, just to satisfy the collector in me. Failing that, I will probably pick up a Monday Knight mat in the future to tide me over.

    Play mats?

I would want something without hexes and exactly 3'x3'. Otherwise the Hotz mats are top notch.

    Play mats?

Seeing the rulebook has gotten me truly jazzed about this game! Since all of the standard rules use a 3'x3' field of play, does anyone think it might be in FFG's best interest to produce a play mat? I'm not talking some cheap paper map or anything. I would like to see something either felt-like or some sort of non-crease fabric like Games Workshop used in their Dread Fleet game. I'd be willing to shell out some bucks for a truly well done 3'x3' star field mat, possibly with some great Star Wars styling around the edges. How about you? Would you like to see a play mat?
  9. Nothing fancy here, just a blog post on how I feel about the game: www.deepdarkdungeons.blogspot.com/2012/05/favored-enemy-lord-of-rings-lcg.html Hopefully it'll help push some over the fence as to whether to get this one or not.
