  1. Tricky, what program is best to open the character generator with?
  2. Loyalist: Rogal Dorn Traitor: Coin toss between Angron and Konrad Kurze.
  3. What I wouldn't give to have another "Mark of the Xenos" style book, but with more in-house Xenos filth written up by the FFG team. It wouldn't hurt to include Hrud in there either.
  4. Ba****d seems to be acceptable as well.
  5. I wouldn't mind seeing a new Core Rulebook, but I'd much rather see more adventures with detailed maps, with additional Chapter rules (I know a few of my friends would die to see the Relictors, Soul Drinkers, or Iron Snakes get some love), and certainly new adversaries, such as the Hrud.
  6. Anymore developments on the generator, Tricky?
  7. Another thing to consider about Deathwatch is that can be designed around a smaller that 4-5 person group, especially if your players are Kill Marines (specialty from Rites of Battle). There's a lot more infiltration/assassination missions than there are of the other styles of missions, but you can always tailor it to your players wants. I also agree with Kshatriya on GMPCing an Apothecary to help keep the KT alive and that the GM-who-isn't-GMing doesn't have a much of a say in how you run your game. You've got enough on your plate as a GM without having to walk on eggshells too.
  8. Also, the reason that there seems to be a lot of problems with Imperial Fist successors is because the good folks at the Black Library openly apologized for hating on the Fellows in Yellow and their kin. Used to be on their blog, but it's gone now =(
  9. I don't recall where I read it, but I've always thought that the Tyranids avoid Necron worlds all together.
  10. Kraken, I believe, are native to the oceans of Fenris, homeworld of the Space Wolves. But who's to say that there aren't a variety of void krakens out there for the Carcharodons to hunt down. Also, inside the books there are maps of the Jericho Reach. In the southeastern portion of the map, there is a spot that reads "Here Lurks Void Drakes". I say run with it =)
  11. I can't wait to hear about the next session. Your Raptor player seems like he'd be a hoot to play along side of him.
  12. Out of curiosity, what is the make-up of your KT? What ranks and advanced Specialties are they as well? Personally, I'd get the Marine with the best chances of winning in talks with both the Administratum and the Red Tigers, set them down and lay out my own plan for dealing with the Ork threat. Here would be my proposal: My KT would insert itself behind enemy lines and take out the Warboss in a decapitation attack while the Red Tigers stage a diversionary attack to draw attention away from the Warboss. We would propose to have this done in a time best suited to both parties and should our plan succeed, would then offer our services in eliminating any successors to the Warboss to further weaken the Ork Waaaaagh!
  13. I know it may take Tricky a while to get to it all, but the work he/she has done has been phenomenal and for that, has my deepest thanks =)
  14. Traitors will say anything to look good. Filthy Traitors.
  15. Quite welcome and I hope that your player finds a greater measure of enjoyment in the game.
  16. Ask him to play a Salamander Space Marine. Of all the Chapters, the Salamanders are known best for working with humans and being their protectors. He might use this opportunity to roleplay as a Space Marine who brings more than a body count to the table and might actually get the other party members to deal with humans and their own shreds of humanity as well.
  17. I can't wait to see this thing finished!
  18. That sounds fantastic! Once again, thanks for all that you've done and continue to do for the community.
  19. As am I. Is there any way to clear this up on our end? Also, in the Power Armor History, the result "To Forget is to Forgive. Forgive nothing." displays the Gain Hatred (any) talent in the Power Armor History Field, but not in the Space Marine Talents and Traits field. I don't know if this was intentionally done or not, but I thought it was worth pointing out. Thanks for the fantastic work that you've put into this spreadsheet Tricky!
  20. I completely agree. And unfortunately the Imperial Fists just flat-out need to be redone. Won't happen though. I can't agree with you enough on that.

    PLAYER FINDER

ROLE: Player. LOOKING FOR: Group. TYPE OF GAME: Face to Face. SESSION SPECIFICS: Table-top. REGION: League City, Texas / Greater Houston area. SESSION TIME AND TIMEZONE: Weekdays, in the evening. GAME STYLE: I prefer narrative, but I'm open to anything. GAME SPECIFICS: I prefer to stick to canon. Also, I don't care for GMs who are out to kill characters instead of creating a story. If your character dies, as is common in the WH40K universe, then fine. But just to get your jollies, no. COMMENTS: I'm versed in the Imperial Fists chapter and I'd more than likely play an Imperial Fists Tactical, Devastator, or Assault Marine.
  22. Ever since the release of The Emperor's Chosen, things have been rather quiet on the Deathwatch front. Has anyone heard of anything new hitting development? Just curious.
  23. http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Templars_of_Blood#.UVR6YheG2Vo I hope that this helps out some. There's not a lot of info here, but it does give the color scheme.
  24. Does anyone know why this book isn't already available? I'm chomping at the bit for it, but it's been in stasis for what seems like 10,000 years.
