  1. if the alchemist could only do one or the other each turn then i think that it would be ok, and if the troll could choose to regenerate instead of moving (not requiring a roll of a 6) then that would also be better (automatticly missing the turn if the troll wishes to)


  2. hi all, i would like to know how to print the cards of to correct size, i do not have any other graphics printing programs other than windows xp paint, or the basic phot printing wizard also appart fo windows xp.

     

    When i use the photo printing wizard, i set it to A4 paper and 4 pictures to a page,  however, it crops the top and bottom of the card of.

     

    is there a way i can print 4 to a page without cropping


  3. i personally would like to see all of the 2nd ed atlernative ending cards remade, they were good, and kept the same,

    the belt could be modified to give +5 strenght or craft instead of 12/12. but that would be the only change i would make

     

    pandora's box was good, becasue you could creature cardson yourself, to buff up, if you only drew 1, but if drew multiple numbers then all would be played on the character of your choice as a single combat. also the spells you could do the same

    Monsters will not attack you, although you may choose to attack them.

     

    whenever you defeat a monster in battle you may dominate it and keep it as a follower instead of a trophy.

     

    so you still have to fight it and beat it it is not automatic


  5. we play it, if you use one dice for movement, (but roll multiple dice and choose the result) then any actions that proc on that result will happen, such as leprecorn teleport on a six, troll regeneration, winged boots, flying carpet, reaper, ect, however, if using two dice for movement (ie riding horse and others) then none of the "single dice" movement procs happen

    yep, i know htat, also, you cant loot any treasure, but just to clariffy, you can choose what to fight yes? only if they are enemy monsters, this would also be the case for minstral animals and dragons correct?


  7. With fate being able to reroll any one roll that you have made, can you use it to re roll a creatures/enemy attack, and does it take two fate to re roll a two dice roll such as dice with death, or do you just spend one fate to re roll one die?

    that would be the execption  as you are training, it takes time to train, and it also states that for every 3 gold you pay you increase either strenght or craft and miss one turn, however, sirens call (players in same region miss a turn) snow storm, and being drunk in pub would all happen at the same time,

     

    in my opinion anyway

     


  9. i land on the tavern, that has the carnival card on it, and another player, i choose to encounter the space and not the other player,

    i visit the carnival first, roll a 1 (miss a turn) now my turn finished and counts as the missed turn as i still had to encounter the tavern? so i dont miss my next turn?

     

    or my turn ends and i miss my next turn?


  10. In one of our games, we ended up with a stalemate in the crown of command

     

    end game characters 2

     

    troll battle strength 20 ,4 lives equip of note runesword ,concealed puch craft 6

    ghoul pychic combat strength 16 no equipment of note

     

    troll had auto win on ghoul for battle (gain 1 live with rune sword)

    ghoul had auto win on troll for pyschic combat (gain 1 live due to special ability)

    game ended in a draw.

     

    is this correct or did we miss something?

    and has anyone else had this before?


  11. in the rules with the reaper,

    the grim reaper will not cross the portal of power, as he is already present in the inner region.

     

    as such, danse macabre the reaper can not be sent to any other character in the inner region.

     

    and as can not overides can, you cant send the reaper to the inner region

    also, as in page 19 of the rule book, the CoC is in the inner region, the grim reaper cant be sent back to the character there.

    If you do not have to, what about chest and casket and similar? Can you exchange them without having any slot left in your inventory?

    Just to add perspective, you need to have a slot free if you want to use the raft.

     

    I have always played that you get the coins regardless of if you have space left in your inventory or not, but on the other hand that you must have at least one space left for casket and chest etc. But maybe this not as clear as I have thought

     

    a BOG is not classed as an abject therefore it does not take up any space, however, the casket is an object thus you need one space to pick it up  even if you use it straight away
