  1. Android Netrunner Informal Tournament (nifty experimental format, with prizes!) Time: 11 a.m. Check-in, noon start time (see below). Cost: Whatever you feel like donating to the Support the Playground jar. (It helps cover the cost of the league kits, too!) Required Materials: Minimum one Android: Netrunner core game (see below). Format: ID Shuffle All released Corporation and Runner identities will be pooled together. At noon, players will be randomly assigned one unique Corporation and Runner identity. Players will then have 30 minutes to build a Corporation and Runner a deck to fit each identity. Deck building must follow all rules detailed in the Android Netrunner core game. (http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/ffg_content/android-netrunner/support/ADN01_Rules_ENG_Lo-Res.pdf) The tournament will be a three-round event and will follow the official Android Netrunner tournament rules (http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/ffg_content/android-netrunner/support/FAQ/2013-February/ADN_Tournament_Rules_1.1.pdf) with two exceptions. First, this is an informal event, so sleeving your cards is not required. (But it is highly recommended.) Second, a deck list will not be needed, due to the on-site constructed nature of the event. Decks will be subjected to audit by the TO at player request. Prizes are coming from the Android Netrunner League Kits. First, second, and third place will get to pick between the Android Netrunner card box, and two packs of deluxe credit chips. Alternate artwork cards will be given away randomly based on supply and tournament participation.

    Expansion arriving

fconolly said: Here's a question… with the addition of two new races will the game support 5 and 6 players now? I second this question!
  3. Pegasus Games in Madison, WI will be hosting a tournament of StarCraft; the Board Game and we have lots of fabulous prizes to give out. The grand prize, of course, will be a coveted beta key to StarCraft 2! So get ready to harvest minerals, spawn overloads and drop the hammer to dispense some indiscriminate justice! The tournament will cost $8.00 and is not eligible for discounts. Sign up will begin at 11:30 on the morning of the event. We will not hold spots for anyone and there are only 12 slots available on a first come, first serve basis. So be early! We will be using the rules and errata for StarCraft; the Board Game only. (We will not be including the Brood War expansion.) This is a tournament, not a teaching event, so be familiar with both! Please call us at 608-833-4263 or e-mail pegasus@pegasusgames.com (with the subject “StarCraft tournament") or reply right here if you have any other questions! You can also find us on Facebook! Pegasus Games is located at 6640 Odana Road in Madison, WI.

  9. I played Magic until the Ice Age set. I promised myself that I wouldn't go back and it got harder and harder as the sets from the last few years came out. Then I found Invasion. I have zero desire to play Magic anymore. That's the best way I can describe how good the game is.
  10. *Reposted from the Warhammer Invasion Community* Are there any LCG players in or near Madison, WI who are interested in league play? I work at one of the local shops there, Pegasus Games, and we have the second Tuesday of each month free. We'd like to fill it with LCG goodness. Any takers?
