  1. So iajitsu and striking as air stack
  2. But I'm trying to figure out why it is good. Anyone can draw a sheathed weapon and strike. So why iajitsu needed it anyone can do it normally too?
  3. So here with iajitsu you could draw as it requires an action and the other one states if you a check you can stack. Or are you saying because both have katana you cant?
  4. So it makes iajitsu pointless if you can just draw for free. As iajitsu is just draw and strike... Have a page number for incidentals
  5. So in SW FFG and games like D&D they have s list of incidental actions and actual full actions. I see an example of making an attacking says with a readied weapon. I would assume drawing a weapon would be an action other IAJITSU would be sort of lame waste of opportunity used. Iajitsu says you can draw and attack in one action and unlocks opportunity such as draw a other weapon or sheathe a readied weapon. If anyone could draw a weapon and attack pretty much half of iajitsu ia pointless to even have or have written up.
  6. Looking at the kakita iajitsu it has activation of action. Draw my blade and make a strike. It opens up some opportunity options. Strike as air activation is NOT an action requirement. It says when I make a check melee with air you have the following: opens up opportunity options. Do these combo or chain? IE can I iajitsu ACTION (requirement) trigger technique and make the CHECK (requirement) which triggers the strike as air requirement to open all the options? It sounds like you can to me as the first is action which fulfills the first and than the check fulfills the second.
  7. Any one help here? Void points? I'm not seeing what they do in this edition anyone have a page number
  8. Anyone want to gm a play by post preferably on G+ community for some new players in preparation for the kit and core?
  9. SO I agree here to the basic stuff— but if I set up a combat that is obvious bad guys coming and the Jedi runs at them slicing them up that is aggressive nature , so slapping them on the wrist for attack seems harsh and eventually a player will be passive constantly which can be boring
  10. I’m having trouble knowing when and how to give conflict: anyone have a list or possible ideas of when and how to give conflict besides a force roll that is darkside?
  11. Forgive me I couldn’t find this topic easily. I haven’t played in a long time so coming back I don’t remember all the stuff. For force sense CONTROL. I commit force dice to CONTROL; attacks on me upgrade once. DURATION? I don’t get it? It is triggered one more time per round? What is? The upgrade? So it’s upgrade twice against me? Makes no sense here because... STRENGTH upgrade it twice? LAST CONTROL is upgrade MY ability that I get fine... “Duration” is kind of throwing me for a loop.

  13. I’m not seeing rules for damaging armor. i would assume that’s the one thing that takes the most beating. theat and triumphs or despairs day damaging weapon item or tool. But I think armor is its own category. Are there rules for damaging armor? Sunder doesn’t even do it...
  14. Is it possible for a ship to go past it’s nromal speed? Player wants to basically try and out run some fighter ships. They have speed 5 and they have speed 3. Doesn’t seem like there are any actions to just strain ship to gain additional speed.
  15. Heh good ol HK thanks all that’s pretty helpful! Ranged stuff is still potent against melee who need to meet you head on. Mines and grenades of all kinds i didn’t think of sounds good for harder combat!
  16. Hard to really title this but I’m running a TOR game and I’m gave my players a cool trails adventure and they earned the right to make their lightsabers. now I just don’t know what exactly is a good combat against lightsabers. They are pretty powerful even at basic level they will do 7 damage (6 damage with minimum 1 damage or the 1 success. With breach it will go through most NPCs) so with most things becoming Swiss cheese what will Be exciting or interesting for players to fight? I know some combats will be some things for them to Swiss cheese through but what is a challenge especially against lightsabers?
  17. So it would cost me 20 points to get emergent -- I dunno what I'd choose than that would be melee oriented except for just straight up spy + emergent/exile (since AOR actually states you can take emergent or exile) within AOR core.
